If you have already played this game you know what I'm going to talk about, it's a game that takes your sleep away and scares you wishing that such a nightmare never happens to you, in this reality or any other. I'm talking about silent hill developed by Konami, I congratulate them for how they created this story taken from the worst nightmares that a human being can have, a lot of creativity when making such a disturbing drama. This game left me thinking and fascinated by all the dark and mysterious details, it was so scary that I confess that I never dared to play it, I really couldn't, if I played it nowadays it could be hahaha. I remember that I liked to turn off the light to give it more excitement, in the end, we are like masochists because fear excites us, it is a very good game I liked it so much is brutal, many times I wished that the protagonist Harry Mason was faster running because I was distressed when I followed those monsters that appeared suddenly.

The drama begins when Harry loses his daughter Cheryl in a traffic accident, at the time he is unconscious, and when he wakes up the terror begins and begins the adventure full of exploration looking for his lost daughter, what agony, and we are introduced in that story of despair, while we walk the game shows us a silent hill environment dim, dark, with lots of fog, you can not see far away just a few meters, we show an uninhabited and forgotten town, you wonder what do I do now? Where do I go? (At that moment I told my sister to take control and play, this game is scary hahaha). There is no choice but to run, but we must explore and look for any clues that will help us solve the mystery of all this, finding maps, items, objects, guns, keys, writings, etc. Everything is unknown, we must think and be brave. Another character that appears and helps us is the cute police Cybil Bennett that with each appearance gives us a lot of help, but so far without knowing what awaits us, it is a demonic denouement and a cult that was already made long ago that will gradually be discovered.

It is a third-person game with very realistic gameplay, as Harry can not do impressive things but normal things like running, hitting and shooting to defend himself from the scary monsters that appear suddenly, which made me jump with fright. Many times it is better to run than shoot, bullets are scarce and you should leave it for more important moments, for example, when we walk through the streets full of mist and silence suddenly appear as a kind of big and mutated birds that attack you, I chose to dodge them while running to hospitals and schools that are much more frightening and horrible, inside they are very ugly and more when the moment comes that you change dimension where the walls, ceiling, and the whole environment becomes rusty and hellish you feel the real terror, these scenes do scare you so much because you know what is coming beyond is worse, creatures like creepy children appear who have knives, I wished I had infinite bullets to be able to kill them all.

The puzzles are a fundamental part of the game, I was solving them while I was in tension for the terrifying secret I was going to discover. These are sensations that few games made me feel. The graphics are not the best, but for me, they are very acceptable, the environment is dark and full of fog giving a terrifying visual approach. There is a scene where we get to a bathroom and look at the mirror and see how suddenly another reality is reflected, but hellish and takes us so off guard that it particularly scared me too hahaha. With the help of a sensational sound, as metallic noises and moving objects are heart-stopping at all times, if you were not scared of what you say you were scared of what you heard, the perfect soundtrack is very well detailed in the different environments ranging from silence to maximum noise, many scares await us as we go inspecting each place in town.

The story of the game is excellent, the plot, narrative, drama and every scene, I dare say they are very impressive, each person who plays it has different views and feelings, but what we will have in common is the fear and suspense that makes us live. Silent Hill can be played several times, as it has several endings depending on how curious you are when it comes to exploring, in itself is very complex. Another thing I liked was its impressive cinematic sequences that are very good for their time, these aspects are what I value most in the game as well as the drama.

To conclude this game is a success and a work of horror art, it is amazing how it keeps you on your toes because of the suspenseful scenes, scary sounds, and malevolent characters. The developers took their time to give it depth in the occult, it is one of the best games I played at that time, I recommend it with my eyes closed, if you like turbinal horror this is for me one of the best. It has a unique touch that you will enjoy and believe me you will play with your nerves on edge.

Si ya has jugado este juego sabes de qué voy a hablar, es un juego que te quita el sueño y te asusta deseando que una pesadilla así nunca te pase, en esta realidad ni en ninguna otra. Hablo de sillent hill desarrollado por Konami, los felicito por como crearon esta historia sacada de las peores pesadillas que pueda tener un ser humano, mucha creatividad a la hora de hacer un drama tan perturbador. Este juego me dejaba pensando y fascinado por todos los detalles oscuros y misteriosos, me daba tanto miedo que les confieso que nunca me atreví a jugarlo solo no podía de verdad, si lo jugara hoy en día podría ser jajaja. Recuerdo que me gustaba apagar la luz para darle más emoción, a la final somos como masoquistas, ya que el miedo nos emociona, es un juego muy bueno me gusto tanto es brutal, muchas veces desee que el protagonista Harry Mason fuera más rápido corriendo porque me angustiaba cuando me seguían esos monstruos que aparecían de repente.

El drama empieza cuando Harry pierde a su hija Cheryl en un accidente de tránsito, en el momento él queda inconsciente y cuando despierta empieza el terror y se inicia la aventura llena de exploración buscando a su hija perdida, que agonía, y nos introducimos en esa historia de desesperación, mientras caminamos el juego nos muestras un entorno de silent hill tenues, oscuro, con mucha neblina, no puedes ver a lo lejos solo a pocos metros, nos muestran un pueblo deshabitado y olvidado, te preguntas que hago ahora? ¿A dónde voy? (En ese momento le dije a mi hermana toma el control y juega, este juego da miedo jajaja). No queda de otra que correr, pero debemos explorar y buscar cualquier pista que nos ayude a resolver el misterio de todo esto, encontrando mapas, ítems, objetos, pistolas, llaves, escritos etc. Todo es desconocido, debemos pensar y tener valentía. Otro personaje que aparece y nos ayuda es la linda policía Cybil Bennett que con cada aparición nos da mucha ayuda, pero hasta ahora sin saber que nos espera, es un desenlace demoniaco y un culto que se hizo ya hace mucho tiempo que poco a poco se irá descubriendo.

Es un juego en tercera persona con una jugabilidad muy real, ya que Harry no puede hacer cosas impresionantes sino lo normal como correr, golpear y disparar para defenderse de los espantosos monstruos que aparecen repentinamente, que me hacían brincar del susto. Muchas veces es mejor correr que disparar, las balas son escasas y debes dejarla para momentos más importantes, por ejemplo, cuando caminamos por las calles llenas de neblinas y silencio de repentes aparecen como una especie de aves grandes y mutadas que te atacan, yo elegía esquivarlas mientras corría a los hospitales y escuelas que son muchos más espantosos y horribles, en el interior son muy feas y más cuando llega el momento que se cambia de dimensión donde las paredes, techo y todo el entorno se vuelve oxidado e infernal se siente el verdadero terror, estas escenas sí que te dan tanto miedo porque sabes que lo que viene más allá es peor, aparecen criaturas como niños espeluznantes que tienen cuchillos, deseaba tener balas infinitas para poder matarlos a todos.

Los puzzles son parte fundamental del juego, yo los resolvía mientras estaba en tensión por el secreto aterrador que iba a descubrir. Son sensaciones que pocos juegos me hicieron sentir. Los gráficos no son de lo mejor, pero para mi son muy aceptable, el entorno es oscuro y lleno de neblina dando un enfoque visual terrorífico y espantoso. Hay una escena donde llegamos a un baño y miramos el espejo y vemos como de repente se refleja otra realidad, pero infernal y nos toma tan desprevenido que a mí en particular me asusto demasiado jajaja. Con ayuda de un sonido sensacional, como ruidos metálicos y objetos que se mueven son de infarto en todo momento, si no te asustaba lo que veías te asustabas lo que escuchabas, la banda sonora perfecta muy bien detallada en los diferentes entornos que iban del silencio hasta el ruido máximo, muchos sustos nos esperan mientras vamos inspeccionando cada lugar del pueblo.

La historia del juego de verdad que es excelente, el argumento, su narrativa, el drama y cada escena, me atrevo a decir que son muy impresionantes, cada persona que lo juega tiene puntos de vista y sensaciones diferentes, pero lo que si tendremos en común es el miedo y suspenso que nos hace vivir. Silent hill lo puedes jugar varias veces, ya que cuenta con varios finales dependiendo de que tan curioso seas a la hora de explorar, en sí es muy complejo. Otra cosa que me gusto fueron sus impresionantes secuencias cinemáticas que son muy buenas para su tiempo, este tipo de aspectos son lo que más valoro en el juego igual que el drama.

Para finalizar este juego es un éxito y una obra de arte de terror, es sorprendente como te mantiene en estado de alerta por el suspenso de sus escenas, sonidos aterradores y malévolos personajes. Los desarrolladores se tomaron su tiempo para darle profundidad en el ocultismo, es unos de los mejores juegos que jugué en aquella época, lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados, si te gusta el turbinal horror este es para mí uno de los mejores. Tiene un toque único que vas a disfrutar y créanme van a jugar con los nervios de punta.
