Hello Splinterlands Community!
Hope everyone is doing well.
This is going to be my second attempt on Share Your Battle Challenge. And this week our theme is the Chaos Legion card DISINTEGRATOR.

ABOUT THE CARD :
So, before we move onto some battle and strategy with the card, let's take a look at the card.
Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: MELEE
Abilities: Demoralize
Now, let's check out the stats of the card.
Though I have the card at only level 1, Disintegrator comes with very useful abilities at the higher levels.
At level 1, it has Demoralize making it only the second card that has that ability at level 1 in modern league (Warrior of Peace being the other card). But since this is a Neutral card we can basically play this with any splinter we want.
At level 5 it also adds Trample, then at level 8 Knock Out and at the highest level Retaliate.

THE RULE SET :

- Mana Cap : 42
- Rule set :
Stampede: The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.
Up Close & Personal: Only Monsters with Melee attack may be used in battles. - Available Splinters :
Water
Life
Dragon

THE LINE UP :

For our summoner we went for a level 4 Kelya Frendul.
This adds +1 to armor and +1 to speed to water splinter.
This actually is the first summoner that I leveled up for my silver deck.

At position 1, we went with a level 4 Diemonshark with the responsibility of a tank. It has 3 melee damage with 4 speed, 6 armor and 8 hp at the cost of 8 mana. But the Enrage and Trample ability it has are simply amazing.

At position 2, we went with Flying Squid, one of my favorite secondary tanks from the water splinter.
At level 5 it provides 3 melee damage and has 9 hp. The card is also very fast with the speed of 4 and most importantly, it's reach ability allows to attack from the second position.

At position 3, we went with our card of the week - Disintegrator.
Since this is a melee only match, we are using this card for its Demoralize debuff which will negate the damage of all enemy splinters adding more survivability to our tank and secondary tank.

At position 4, we went with an old reward card for the water splinter - Demented Shark. Though I have the card at level 3, the only purpose to use the card for this battle is it's Inspire ability that adds 1 melee damage to all melee splinters. This card has the ability at all levels, so a level 1 of the card would have been enough.

In the next position we have Deeplurker.
This is one of the best Chaos Legion card for the water splinter in my opinion.
At level 5, this beast of a card comes with 4 melee damage, 4 speed and 7 hp with opportunity ability. Definitely a must have!
At the last spot we went with a Gold Foil level 5 Pelacor Bandit.
It is simply astonishing how cheap this card is with the kind of utility it adds to the water deck!
The Flying with Sneak ability at all levels gives a card an added advantage in most battles. At level 5, it comes with 2 melee damage with 4 speed and 4 hp. And most importantly we get this entire package for just 3 mana!

THE HIGHLIGHTS :
- Round 1:
At the beginning of the battle we can see how Disintegrator inflicted Demoralize on all opponent cards.
Soon in the first round, the opponent's Sand Worm took out our Pelacor Bandit. That is a big loss indeed !
- Round 2:
In round 2, we make a great comeback as our Deeplurker eliminates opponent's Diemonshark. An important thing to note here, the Demoralize from Disintegrator played a very vital role here as opponent were not yet able to do enough damage to penetrate through our Diemonshark's armor.
- Round 3:
At the start of round 3 we have a close battle both the teams have lost a card.
The opponents Deeplurker takes out our Disintegrator. Let's hope it did it's part. Soon, our Deeplurker takes out opponent's Feasting Seaweed.
- Round 4:
The battle is still evenly poised even at the start of round 4 as both teams are down to 3 cards each.
But right at the start of the round, our Diemonshark takes out the Flying Squid giving us an advantage, with the trample triggering right after the kill we also took out the armor from Deeplurker. Now, our Deeplurker takes out the opponent's Deeplurker but we loose our Diemonshark to Sand Worm.
- Round 5:
There were no causalities from either team in round 5 but this brings us closer to the result.
- Round 6:
At the very start of round 6, our Flying Squid eliminates opponent's Sand Worm but our Deeplurker too dies from the Thorn of Spineback Turtle.
- Round 7:
In round 7 also we do not have a result and we move to round 8.
- Round 8:
Round 8 gives us that victory as our Flying Squid takes out the opponent's Spineback Turtle.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?
I would say it definitely worked out well and our theme card Disintegrator played a pivotal role in the victory.
Though our Disintegrator was taken out in the third round only, it helped our tank to survive longer and slowly we moved towards the win.
Do I like the DISINTEGRATOR? Why or why not?
I do like the card for the abilities it has. It is very ideal for melee only rule set, or sneak attack rule set or even melee can attack from anywhere rule set.
Disintegrator teams up brilliantly with cards having Shield ability.
I feel, since it is a starter card, we do not value it enough.
In future I do plan to upgrade the card and use it more often.
