I'm back! Been through some poor sleep schedule rounds and a few days of both rushing through an university assignment and cleaning stuff everywhere (on my PC and at home) but we're finally here for another new story!
As everybody on one of my friend groups started talking over and over about this one game, going from one or two to several of them discussing their pulls and strategies, as well as how I thought "Eh, I guess its alright to try a RPG on my phone", I ended up installing this.
It has definitely found a way to give me some fun impressions from what I have played.
The story throws you head first with, not as the male or female protagonist you can choose and name, but instead with a mysterious woman named Kafka that is soon joined by another character (Silver Wolf) while going through a few waves of enemies as they try to obtain a secured Stellaron, which also doubles not only as a showcase of the visual flair (Kafka's definitive technique was very cool to see), but also as a sneaky tutorial of how the gameplay works.
And after you're done with that, you are given the option to choose which will be the vessel for the Stellaron...in other words, to choose between the male and female character that you will play as for the rest of the adventure. But you can actually make a team of four characters without the Trailblazer if you have enough of them if you want to.
After that happens and you are found by who will be your two new characters in your team (the cheerful March 7th and the quiet Dan Heng), you will have to keep moving through this first area while the space station is being attacked by enemies, which you'll still have to fight while following orders from the game (the tutorial isn't over yet), but at least you can get to see that the gameplay is somewhat more unique than your standard JRPG.
With stun bars you can lower by attacking an enemy's element weakness (character based) and being able to hit them harder when those are gone, the turn order is always visible, and both some abilities and activating a character's Ultimate at almost any point can get in an additional attack before the next turn (ally or enemy) happens.
So if you wish, you can go all out with the Ultimate attacks before that one enemy is allowed to attack. Don't ask me if that's always a good idea, though. I only know so far that they look cool and do quite the damage when used with the right element for an enemy's weakness.

Well, hope you had learned well from everything you saw before, because this is the first big boss you'll face...and he's not gonna sugarcoat it: Two hands and a main target with powerful attacks each one will have you wake up quickly. Me alongside someone else had actually thought this had to be one of those "cutscene unwinnable fights" not only because of how hard this thing hits compared to anything you've faced before, but if you survive long enough and deplete its health...
It decides to refill its health again!
But if you manage to deplete its health again, then it will go down for good...and then it will just get up again in a cutscene with a giant laser, until your character suddenly gains a mysterious power very likely powered by the Stellaron inside them, being capable of holding off its attack, throw it back at the beast, and then straight up trying to go Super Saiyan until you explode with energy.
Nah, just kidding, you almost seem to burst without any control, but of course someone just shows up and smacks you silly so that you stop.
By this point you have met a handful of characters (and keep meeting more) as you keep playing, but the one that carries the biggest news on this character is the little rabbit conductor that, aside from being appearing there in the Star Rail space train, it will also greet you every time you try to pull for a character (if the train doors glow rainbow and this thing gets pushed away when the door opens...you got lucky).
Since this is a Mihoyo game (from the creators of Genshin Impact, only that this one won't leave you marked out there if you play it), of course you can get lucky or unlucky with the free rolls you can get unless you decide to pour money into it for more chances, but on the first three 10-ticket rolls I could do on the beginner pass, I got Hook, Tiangyuan, and Himeko; the last of which I had already thought was fun to use with her ability to attack enemies whenever any of them loses their shield as you temporarily got her at the start.
Since there isn't much to comment about the gameplay beyond what I have shown (and know so far, which is not much from having seen many people formulate strategies and guides and such) or much that I could tell about the story without having to look up (or make) a synopsis other than you're going to embark with your new friends to whatever the Star Rail takes you and learn more about the world here (or maybe even yourself), I can say that there seems to be a lot of lore buried within the game for those that want to dig in it with side missions and data you can obtain through the game.
But something that I thought was fun too was the fact that there's a Photo Mode, which I use with the maximum quality setting, though I don't use that on my phone for gameplay because it tanks my framerate.
LET 'EM PHOTOS ROLL!
This last one is where I'm at right now: After landing on a planet full of snow, "befriending" a guy called Sampo Koski that escapes after some guards find us, survive what might have been a "survive until the cutscene starts" fight against their captain since I almost lost all my team to him until he just...ended the fight before that, and being taken to the city of Belobog to see my ultimate fate with the higher authority there with how we seem to be the first outsiders to arrive there in a long time.
And...that's it for now. I pretty much open this game whenever I feel like it, so I'm probably not going to make big progress quickly other than spending a good while in it whenever I do so, but I have to admit that the little tweaks in gameplay to the RPG formula are ineresting, and the world gives me Phantasy Star Online vibes with the design and worldbuilding (if you don't know what PSO is, boy I'll have to tell you one day about that).

He vuelto! Estuve pasando por algunas malas horas de acostarme y unos pocos dÃas apurándome con tanto tarea de la universidad como con limpiar cosas por doquier (en la computadora y la casa) pero finalmente estamos de vuelta para otra nueva historia!
Ya que varios amigos seguÃan hablando y hablando del juego, pasando de ser uno o dos a ser como siete u ocho que estaban discutiendo sus personajes obtenidos y estrategias, al final dije "Eh, ya que, al menos es un RPG en teléfono" y lo instalé..
Si que ha encontrado una forma de darme algunas impresiones divertidas de lo que he jugado.
La historia te lanza de cabeza primero con, no como el protagonista masculino o femenino que puedes nombrar y escoger, sino como una mujer misteriosa llamada Kafka que después se junta con otro personaje (Silver Wolf) mientras van por unas pocas hordas de enemigos mientras que intentan conseguir un Estelaron asegurado, lo cual también actúa no solo como una muestra del estilo visual (la ulti de Kafka fue genial de ver), sino también como un tutorial de como funciona la jugabilidad.
Y después de eso, puedes escoger el contenedor del Estelaron...el cual será el protagonista con el que te quedarás el resto de tu aventura. Pero puedes hacer un equipo de cuatro personajes sin el Trailblazer si tienes suficientes personajes y asà lo deseas.
Después de eso y te encuentran tus dos nuevos compañeros de equipo (la animada Siete de Marzo y el callado Dan Heng), tendrás que seguir moviéndote en esta primera área mientras que la estación espacial es atacada por enemigos, aún teniendo que pelear con ellos siguiendo el tutorial, pero al menos puedes notar que la jugabilidad es algo más única que tu JRPG estándar.
Con barras de stun que puedes bajar atacando al elemento de un enemigo con ciertos personajes y ser capaz de darles más fuerte cuando les rompes eso, poder ver el orden de turno en todo momento, y ambos algunas abilidades de personaje y utilizar el Ultimate de un personaje en casi cualquier momento permite un ataque adicional antes de que el siguiente turno (aliado o enemigo) suceda.
Asà que si asà lo quieres, puedes usar todos los Ultimate antes de que ese enemigo siquiera pueda atacar. No me preguntes si es buena idea, solo digo que se ven geniales y hacen bastante daño si se usan con la debilidad del enemigo.

Bueno, espero que hayas aprendido de todo lo que viste antes, porque este primer gran jefe que te enfrentas no te lo va aendulzar: Con dos manos y un blanco principal con fuertes ataque cada uno te harán despertarte rápido. Alguien además de mi que conozco también pensó que era una pelea "inganable" no solo por lo fuerte que pegaba comparado con lo que peleaste antes, sino que si sobrevives y le quitas su vida...
Simplemente decide llenarla de nuevo!
Pero si le logras quitar la vida entera una vez más, ahà si caerá...solo para levantarse otra vez en una escena con un laser gigante, hasta que tu personaje consigue un misterioso poder capaz potenciado por el Estelaron dentro de ellos, siendo capaz de mantener a raya ese ataque, devolverlo a la bestia, y casi que volverse Super Saiyajin hasta que explotas de energÃa.

Eh, mentira, casi explotas sin control, pero alguien justo viene a golpearte para que te detengas.
A este punto ya has conocido varios personajes (y habrán más), pero el que siempre trae las grandes noticias es el pequeño conductor que, además de aparecer dentro del tren espacial Star Rail, también te saludará cada vez que vayas por un personaje en el gacha (si las puertas del tren brillan arcoiris y esta cosa sale volando cuando se abre...tuviste suerte).
Ya que es un juego de Mihoyo (de los creadores de Genshin, solo que este no te dejara con un estigma público encima si lo juegas), claro que puedes tener buena o mala suerte con los intentos gratis a menos que le metas dinero para mas intentos, pero en los primeros tres tiros de 10 tickets que podÃa hacer en el pase de principiante, conseguà a Hook, Tiangyuan y Himeko; esta última pareciendome divertida ya con eso que la probé temporalmente al principio y tenÃa un ataque extra por cada vez que rompÃas un escudo de un enemigo.
Ya que no hay mucho que comentar de la jugabilidad mas allá de lo que conté (y conozco, ya que se que existen estrategias y tal)o de la historia sin tener que buscar una sinopsis fuera de que vas en una aventura con nuevos amigos a donde te lleve el Star Rail y aprender más sobre el mundo (quizás hasta de ti), puedo decir que parece haber más lore en este juego de lo que parece entre las misiones secundarias e información que puedes obtener y leer.
Pero lo que también pensé que fue divertido es que hay un Modo Foto, el cual uso con la calidad máxima que no uso normalmente para jugar ya que se come mis FPS.

Esta última foto es donde estoy ahora mismo: Después de caer en un planeta lleno de nieve, "hacerme amigo" de un tipo llamado Sampo Koski que escapa después de que unos guardias nos encuentran, sobrevivir lo que pareció ser una pelea de "sobrevive hasta que empiece la escena" con el capitán de los guardias ya que casi me mata hasta que...decidió terminar la pelea antes de eso, y ser llevado a la ciudad de Belobog para ver mi destino con la autoridad ya que somos los primeros forasteros en llegar ahà en mucho.
Y...eso es todo por ahora. Solo abro este juego cuando me llegan a dar muchas ganas, asà que no creo que haré mucho progreso rápido fuera de cuando si llegue a jugarlo, pero debo admitir que los cambios en la formula de RPG son interesantes, y el mundo me da vibras de Phantasy Star Online con su diseño e historia (si no sabes que es PSO, vaya que te tengo que contar algún dÃa de eso).
