Hello there, full-time weekenders!
I love it the topics for the #weekend-engagement make me think about some fundamental ideas and concepts of life. Today, I'm here to talk about my seductions antics and the times I've been seduced.

I don't think I'm a fan of either ideas. Seducing and being seduced are both things I could enjoy and have enjoyed a lot. The first one makes you feel something that is primal in men's minds. It is this idea of being on the hunt for something. Except you not going to kill anything. It is thrilling. You need to plan your next move. Study your interaction with your target. Set and strategy and go through. On the other hand, being seduced is a like a dance where you enter willingly. You let other person lead the way. Sometimes, you get the baton and start moving things at your own tempo. But it more of having a blast on the experience. All the attention and details are awesome. Besides, when someone gives you that amount of time and care, it makes you feel special. And we all want to feel like that from time to time.

It doesn't always work on the best way. We are human and our interests are different. Some stories of seduction have ended abruptly for that. From time to time, during that long dating period, I stopped courting someone for some comment or actions that were an absolute red flag on my book. And I bet I have done things that have pissed off people all the same. A failed story on the fact of being seduced comes in the form of a girl that was trying to get close and intimate with me. It started all of a sudden. The funny thing was that before this whole courting ritual began, I had been introduced to this person. The first impression was really bad. She gave me a pretty bad handshake and didn't even made eye contact at that moment. Then the tables turned and she was looking for me, texting me and all of that.

It is amazing the amount of attention you can get from curly hair. It's been my feathered tail. Just like a peacock. Except it has only one colour and I can't retract it like the bird. Anyways, coming back to the story. It didn't end well because this girl wanted me to fall in love with her just to ditch me after having her way with me. How did I know it? Well, her whole act was too sketchy. Always on the phone texting. Always making drama of everything. And in the end the thing ended in a transaction. I did get some and that was it. There were other attempts from her to get my attention, but by the time she had started on that again I was already busy on something else. I won't deny that part of the attention was interesting. But besides that, it's a good thing that seduction act didn't achieved its goal. It would have been a heavy blow on my self-esteem.

On the other hand, sometimes seduction is all about saying the right thing at the appropriate moment. I dated this girl who was friends with another girl that I didn't date but we were kind of close. As far as I can remember, the were best friends or something. And I got to spend some time with both. But how did it worked? Well, at some point in time, she told me she liked me but her friend was already making her move (not really that was also my move). And what did I tell her? Simple, "do you wanna go on a date?" At first, she thought I was joking. I don't blame her. I joke a lot. But then I just did my best serious impression and we started dating. It was cool, but it also happened at a very tough time in college, so studies won over relationship and it ended. I think she's married now. And her friend too in case you're wondering. And maybe you're asking yourself if I have a secret for seduction. I have two. They are related. The first one is confidence. It always gets you a log way from the starting line. The second one is not being afraid of being ridiculous. Something making someone laugh is a good way to start this dance. And I'll you on a third magical secret that encompasses the other two and might give anyone a chance to seduce people. Always listen to the things other have to say. And I mean listen. Not just wait for your turn to talk in a conversation. But don't mind me. This isn't seduction advice.
