Hello, community of professional, intermediate, and beginner musicians from all over the world. @lordbutterfly invites us in this week #16 of the Vibes Web 3 contest with an important theme: "Roots". Theme that takes us to our origins, our ancestors, our ancestors and their actions that paved the way for us to now travel. That's why I share with you my instrumental version of "Chucho y Ceferina", a song in Caracas merengue rhythm, with its 2/4 time signature and its profusion of eighth-note triplets. He paints a picture of the past with his two characters: "Chucho" - nickname for Jesus - street vendor of vegetables and greens and "Ceferina", seller of "farms", that is, homemade sweets and treats. Temática que nos lleva a nuestros orígenes, nuestros ancestros, nuestros antepasados y a sus acciones que abrieron camino para que ahora nosotros transitemos.
Por eso comparto con ustedes mi versión instrumental de "Chucho y Ceferina", una canción en ritmo de merengue caraqueño, con su compás de 2/4 Y su profusión de tresillos de corcheas. Nos pinta una estampa del pasado con sus dos personajes: "Chucho" - apodo por Jesús- vendedor ambulante de verduras y hortalizas Y "Ceferina", vendedora de "granjerías", es decir, dulces y golosinas hechas en casa.
