SPLINTERLANDS - Tips for Beginners!

In my previous post, I discussed my experiences with Splinterlands and Hive. The best teacher is experience. Even though I've been playing for two years and have seen the ups and downs of cryptocurrency prices, I'm too far to be considered as an expert. I'm also still learning how to find the best Splinterlands strategies and tactics. Of course, I have stories and tips to share from these two years.

I wanted to share a few things that might help new Splinterlands players develop faster. I learned this from my own experience. At the very least, knowing someone's experience allows us to learn the most valuable lessons. And avoid wasting time making minor, avoidable errors.

For those who are unfamiliar with Splinterlands, it is a strategy game and NFT card collection. If you've played card games like Yu Gi Oh in the past. Of course, you're familiar with Splinterlands' card battles. Actually, there are numerous methods for learning the fundamentals of this game. Whether it's through YouTube, 3speak, Discord, or another platform. However, you can also learn it directly from the Splinterlands website. This is the link: Splinterlands Guide

Strategies and suggestions for newcomers.

When I first started playing card battles in Splinterlands, I began to learn and develop tactics in every battle. At the time, I was a member of a community that shared plenty of information and gaming experiences. This is what helped me quickly grasp the game and develop my assets to this day.

I'll summarize things that can help new Splinterlands players develop.

  1. Because this is a card-fighting game, you must have cards to fight. We don't have to have every single card in our collection. The best way is to simply have the cards we require. Each card has a distinct ability & collect cards that are appropriate for your strategy. Begin by strengthening your collection with just one element.
  2. Don't have enough money to purchase an NFT card? Don't be concerned. You can post an article about Splinterlands on Hive. Every week, there are art challenges, social media challenges, and battle mage secrets. Splinterlands assists its members by providing upvotes based on the quality of your articles. Of course, if you receive the curated results, you can use them to improve your deck and Splinterlands card collection.
  3. Joining the community will hasten your progress in Splinterlands. Joining a guild in Splinterlands is one of them. You can also join the official Splinterlands Discord. And, as mentioned, several communities frequently lend/delegate great cards to their members. Of course, it will improve your combat deck.
  4. In Splinterlands, you can own various assets in addition to collecting cards. DEC, SPS, LAND, and other game supporters are examples. All of these items are available on the market or Hive-engine. If you own and purchase DEC, SPS, and LAND, you will not lose money. Because all of these items will be sought after in the game. You can sell them if the market price rises.
  5. Use Splinterlands support tools, such as Peakmonster or Splintercards to find out the types and movements of card prices up and down. You can also find out your performance each season by using the asset acquisition reporting in Splinterlands. I often check using SplinterStats - Season Report Card by @kiokizz. This will help you strategize and grow your Splinterlands account
  6. Take part in giveaways from both Splinterlands official team and Splinterlands players through their posts on HIVE. Card giveaway events are often held. This will also help your card collection to be fulfilled. I got giveaway cards from the Untamed and Dice series several times when I first started playing the Splinterlands game. And it helps fulfill my combat team's collection.

That are some of the things that new Splinterlands players can do to speed up their development.

However, it should be noted that this Splinterlands game is play-to-earn. What you will get in the future is determined by how much you invest now. Keep in mind that before you join this community, you should first learn about all of the risks and benefits.

It takes perseverance and tenacity to ensure that your assets grow every day. Hopefully, you will find this information useful.
