If you say any of the above to people that are anti-gun they just roll their eyes and completely ignore any logical statement like that. I'm yet to hear a single sane and logical argument about the need for more gun control that makes any sense at all. It's just politicians scraping for votes at this point. North Carolina is quite pro-gun so maybe that is why the state representatives aren't touching this one.
The national news seems to be ignoring it as well though, which is rare.
