This flute is 756mm from end to end, it has an external diameter of 40mm, and an internal bore of roughly 30mm. Because it’s made with a hardwood (Peruvian Walnut), it does have some weight to it, but not so much that it’s difficult to play or carry. The holes are offset to accommodate even players with smaller hands (myself included).

Looks like the ID information is laser engraved. I love their simple rain cloud logo, and the laser engraving is super clean. As is noted on the flute, this is tuned to the key of B. In the below product listing, you can see that it’s more specifically tuned to B3 (low B).

This flute is accented with a band of crushed turquoise. If the photos are stunning, it really is a whole separate experience feeling these quality earthen materials against your hands :)

One of the most unique features of the Rain Spirit flute is the recessed channel for the fetish/bird. I can’t say enough good things about this subtle nuance. This helps create a good seal, ensures repeatable placement for even the most novice player, and even holds the bird in place while you’re tying the leather strap.

Overall, this flute is an absolute dream to play, and certainly it is a work of art to appreciate even just in its visual aesthetic.
