A few days ago I visited the zoo with @bilginhilal, @bilginselcuk, my mom and dad. I was very excited to see creatures I had never seen before. Actually, this visit was not in the plan. We wanted to stop by on the way back from visiting relatives. After arriving at the zoo, we parked the car at a suitable spot. @bilginselcuk bought the entrance tickets. 20 Turkish Lira per person. (Approximately 1.10 USD) The price is very reasonable and there is no time limit. You can visit until closing time.

Birkaç gün önce @bilginhilal, @bilginselcuk, annem ve babamla birlikte hayvanat bahçesini ziyaret ettik. Daha önce hiç görmediğim canlıları görecek olmak beni çok heyecanlandırmıştı. Aslında bu ziyaret planda yoktu. Akraba ziyaretinden dönerken yol üstü olduğu için uğramak istedik. Hayvanat bahçesinin bulunduğu bölgeye vardıktan sonra arabayı uygun bir noktaya park ettik. @bilginselcuk giriş biletlerini aldı. Kişi başı 20 Türk Lirası. (Yaklaşık 1.10 Amerikan Doları) Fiyat gayet makul üstelik herhangi bir zaman sınırlaması da yok. Kapanış saatine kadar gezebiliyorsun.
After entering the zoo, I felt like I was walking in the Amazon jungle 😄
First we moved to the section with tigers and lions. There was a lot of interest in these creatures. I waited in line for a few minutes to see the tigers. Contrary to what they look like in the documentaries, they were much bigger. According to the information I got from the signs, these creatures can consume 40 kilograms of meat at a time. I think I can only consume this amount in 2 months. 😅 But I think @sezermehmet can eat 40 kg of meat in a few days 😂
Hayvanat bahçesinin içerisine girdikten sonra kendimi Amazon ormanlarında yürüyormuş gibi hissettim. 😄
İlk olarak kaplanlar ve aslanların olduğu kısma hareket ettik. Bu canlılara ilgi oldukça büyüktü. Kaplanları görebilmek için birkaç dakika sırada bekledim. Belgeseller de görünenin aksine çok daha büyüklerdi. Tabelalardan edindiğim bilgiye göre bu canlılar tek seferde 40 kilogram et tüketebiliyorlarmış. Ben bu miktarı sanırım 2 ayda anca tüketebilirim. 😅 Ancak @sezermehmet'in birkaç günde 40 kg eti yiyebileceğini düşünüyorum😂
Right next to the tigers were lions. Ever since I was a little girl, I always wondered what lions were like. It's a completely different feeling to see them up close. There was a lot of interest in the lions. But these creatures were resting without paying any attention to anything.
Kaplanların hemen yan tarafında aslanlar bulunuyordu. Küçüklüğümden beri aslanların nasıl bir canlı olduğunu hep merak ederdim. Yakından görebilmek bambaşka bir his. Aslanlara olan ilgi de büyüktü. Ancak bu canlılar hiçbir şeye aldırış etmeden istirahat ediyordu.
After saying goodbye to the lions, we wandered around the garden to see different creatures. Since it is so big inside, they have built resting areas at different points. After a short break, we visited the elephants. At first they were quite far from the viewing point. When one of them moved to the area where we were, the others came too. I knew that elephants were big but I never expected this much. Even the small calves were the size of cows.
Aslanlara veda ettikten sonra farklı canlılar görmek için bahçede dolanmaya başladık. İçerisi çok büyük olduğu için farklı noktalara dinlenme alanları yapmışlar. Kısa bir molanın ardından filleri ziyaret ettik. İlk başta izleme noktasına bayağı uzaktalardı. İçlerinden birinin bizim olduğumuz bölgeye hareket etmesiyle diğerleri de geldi. Fillerin büyük olduğunu biliyordum ancak bu kadarını hiç beklemiyordum. Küçük yavrular bile inek büyüklüğünde idi.
The other creatures that caught my attention were Lemurs. When I got close to where they were, they were screaming in a way I couldn't understand. I thought they were disturbed by humans, but it was in their nature to scream. Honestly, their screams disturbed me a bit. We took a few photos of them and then moved to the part where the turtles were. Since I had seen such creatures before, they didn't attract my attention much. However, it was worth seeing them trying to watch what was happening without moving on the water.
Dikkatimi çeken diğer canlılar ise Lemur'lardı. Bulundukları yere yaklaşınca anlam veremediğim çığlıklar atıyorlardı. İnsanlardan rahatsız olduklarını düşünmüştüm ancak çığlık atmam tabiatlarında varmış. Açıkçası bu çığlıkları beni biraz rahatsız etti. Birkaç fotoğraflarını çekip su kaplumbağalarının olduğu kısma hareket ettik. Daha önce bu tarz canlılar gördüğüm için dikkatimi çok çekmedi. Ancak su üstünde hareket etmeden olan bitenleri izlemeye çalışmaları görülmeye değerdi.
One of my most memorable moments at the zoo was in the wolf area. They were resting in a group at a remote spot. After clicking a few times on the protection glass, one of them came towards me. As you can see in the first picture, we locked eyes for a while. After this beautiful moment with the wolf, we visited the bears but they were far away from us. I could only take photos.
Hayvanat bahçesinde en unutamayacağım anlardan biriside kurtların olunduğu bölgeydi. Grup halinde uzak bir noktada dinleniyorlardı. Koruma camına birkaç defa tıkladıktan sonra bir tanesi yanıma doğru geldi. Gerçekten o an bambaşka duygular yaşadım. İlk resimde de gördüğünüz üzere bir müddet göz göze geldik. Kurtla yaşadığım bu güzel anıdan sonra ayıları ziyaret ettik ancak bize çok uzaktalardı. Sadece fotoğraf çekmekle yetindim.
Right next to the wolves were hyenas. When I was watching these creatures in documentaries, frankly, there was a little tension and fear. Although there was a barrier in between, I experienced the same fear again. 😄 I will continue where I left off in the other post. Thank you for reading.

Kurtların hemen yakınında sırtlanlar bulunuyordu. Belgeseller de bu canlıları izlerken açıkçası ufak bir gerilme, korku oluyordu. Her ne kadar arada engel olsa da aynı korkuyu tekrardan yaşadım. 😄 Diğer postta kaldığım yerden devam edeceğim. Okuduğunuz için teşekkür ederim.
