Wandering the Lonely – Photos and Verse

Poetic Universe
Wandering the lonely
stretch
a canyon of trees
On the ridge
playful clouds
peekaboo
I'm in the eye
of an eagle
soaring
While Son-of-Sky
blue like mom
talks quiet thunder
But all things end
(tree canyons too)
away fall the walls
To the river
taking
breath
The lonely road goes on
climbing ridge to sky
I hesitate, looking back
Into the sky
beyond
I'm not (not quite)
ready to soar
