Meet Day R Survival, a role-playing game where the main objective is to find your family, recover your memory and not die. It all starts in Russia where after nuclear missile attacks leave the whole country devastated, your mission is to go from city to city looking for supplies to feed and hydrate you until you find your family, although sometimes you enter places where you may not find anything or survivors are waiting for you to finish you and take away the little you carry. Apart from looking for food and water, you have to look for materials to make weapons and some means of transportation so you can move faster because the distances as in real life are too long between city and city and if you do not arrive on time, before nightfall or you run out of energy to continue walking, you must improvise a camp in the forest where you can run with the luck that you wake up alive, you are attacked by animals or bandits, or animals steal the food you carry. You will also have to stock up on medicines because you may be bitten by a snake, injured by an animal or get hurt in a fight, also as you are in an area contaminated with radiation you have to find or make a gas mask and clothes so that the radiation does not affect you so much when you have to enter to search for resources in a contaminated area.

This is one of those games where you get right into the character and if you don't get what you are looking for, you feel as if the consequences happen to you in real life. From my point of view a very entertaining game, I started playing it last year at the beginning of the pandemic, you know? At that time when we all thought we would not get out of this and we were locked up thinking what to do to distract us and pass the time, many downloaded Ludo Club, others Tik Tok and... well, I was looking for post-apocalyptic games to be prepared for a possible event of these characteristics.

The truth is that I am playing it on easy difficulty and it is not easy at all, according to what they say about the game is that it is played in all Europe but I have not been able to get out of Russia. I don't know what's beyond when I get out of Stalingrad because I always end up dying in the sea (since it was easier to build a raft with logs than to get all the parts to repair a motorcycle or a car) and I lost all the resources I had with me. Also, the missions are getting farther and farther away and to get there you have to be prepared with all the resources you can, and as you advance the areas are more polluted.

¿Te imaginas perder la memoria y despertar en un lugar destruido completamente? y eso no es todo, también ¿Que ese lugar donde despertaste este contaminado con radiación? Les presento a Day R Survival, un juego de rol donde el objetivo principal es encontrar a tu familia, recuperar la memoria y no morir. Todo comienza en Rusia donde tras ataques de misiles nucleares dejan devastado a todo el país, tu misión es ir de ciudad en ciudad buscando provisiones para alimentarte e hidratarte hasta encontrar a tu familia, aunque algunas veces entras en lugares donde quizás no encuentres nada o te estén esperando sobrevivientes para acabar contigo y quitarte lo poco que cargues encima. Aparte de buscar alimentos y agua, tienes que buscar materiales para fabricar armas y algún medio de transporte para que te puedas mover más rápido ya que las distancias como en la vida real son demasiado largas entre ciudad y ciudad y sino llegas a tiempo, antes de que anochezca o te quedes sin energía para poder seguir caminando, deberás improvisar un campamento en el bosque donde puedes correr con la suerte de que amanezcas con vida, te ataquen los animales o bandoleros, o los animales te roben la comida que cargues. Además tendrás que abastecerte de medicamentos debido a que puede que te muerda una serpiente, puede herirte un animal o salgas herido en una pelea, también como te encuentras en un área contaminada con radiación tienes que buscar o fabricar una máscara antigás y ropa para que la radiación no te afecte tanto al momento en que tengas que entrar a buscar recursos en un área contaminada.

Este es uno de esos juegos donde te metes de lleno en el personaje y si no consigue lo que buscas, lo sientes como si las consecuencias te sucedieran a ti en la vida real. Desde mi punto de vista un juego bastante entretenido, lo empecé a jugar el año pasado al inicio de la pandemia, ¿saben? En ese momento en que todos pensábamos que no saldríamos de esta y estábamos encerrados pensando que hacer para distraernos y pasar el tiempo, muchos descargaban Ludo Club, otros Tik Tok y… bueno, yo buscaba juegos post-apocalípticos para estar preparado ante un posible evento de estas características.
La verdad lo estoy jugando con la dificultad en fácil y no es nada fácil, según lo que dicen del juego es que se desenvuelve en toda Europa pero yo no he podido salir de Rusia. No sé qué hay más allá cuando logre salir de Stalingrado porque siempre acabo muriendo en el mar (ya que se me hizo más fácil construir una balsa con troncos que conseguir todas las piezas para reparar una moto o un carro) y perdí todo los recursos que llevaba conmigo. Además que cada vez las misiones son más lejos y para llegar tienes que ir preparado con todos los recursos que puedas, y a medida que vas avanzando las zonas están más contaminadas.
Les recomiendo que le echen un vistazo por si les gustan los juegos de esta clase, les aseguro que no se arrepentirán de haberlo descargado.
