One of the larger coins in my collection is a silver quarter weighing in at 4 ounces troy. On the obverse is the likeness of a State Quarter and on the reverse is a likeness of the first five State Quarters from 1999.
On the side is the weight stamp, showing 4 troy oz 0.999 fine silver.
These generally go for $160 on ebay. Only 10,000 were ever minted!
The round was issued by the Highland Mint as part of their 50 State Quarters series, each featuring the 5 designs of the State Quarters issued that year. This round shows the Delware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, and Connecticut designs. These were limited to a mintage of only 10,000
