Fiji or Niue Taku

Hi Stackers,

Here are two of my Fiji Taku (Turtle) coins.

The word Taku is the word in Fiji for the Hawksbill Turtle and as such known to many collectors. I also have the gold version.

Nowadays the coin is made with the Niue coat of arms but surprisingly is still called Taku and with investors even "Fiji Taku" which I think is correct as the word Taku is Fijian.

The older gold coins if I am correct had a little second turtle swimming deeper but that smaller one now disappeared.

For me they are just bullion coins albeit a little more expensive.

Do you have any turtles?
