The Royal Mint changed up the design for their newest version of Britannia, and it's a great looking one at that. When I came across the design in a 4-coin, reverse frosted proof set limited to only 1000 sets, I had to get one.

Here we have the most boring part of the coin. Moving on!

Now we have something interesting to talk about. I love the serene expression on Britannia's face. I also think it was very clever to have the crista (decorative, feather-like) part of the helmet wrap around and become a tidal wave on the opposite side of the coin.
The set includes a 1oz, 1/4oz, 1/20oz and 1/40oz version of the coin. Talk about small!

The 1/20oz was the hardest to capture details on, because it's so small.
