The new 1oz Hive 2024 rounds have arrived! I'm a little delayed in getting this post out, but better late than never! This round is brought to you by @silversaver888 and Pit Bullion!
Obverse
It was a challenge to get a good picture of this. The surface is proof-like, so even the smallest amount of light perfectly reflects right back into the camera lens. It's VERY shiny! 😁
The design on this is so crisp! I love it! I especially love the tiny bee in the upper left corner, above the Hive logo. Pit Bullion certainly knows what they're doing!
Reverse
Ha! Gotcha! I purposefully left out the picture of the reverse. The back of this round has the same mirror, proof-like finish as the front, without a design stamped onto it. It's so smooth and shiny, if I got lost in the desert on a sunny day, I could easily reflect the light off of it to signal for help! 😁

These products appear to be cold rolled. I wasn't familiar with the process, so I had to look it up. It involves compressing the silver at room temperature. (Source)
It's typically done with stainless steel, but silver is softer and it obviously works just fine and results in a great finished product! There may be some left, so message silversaver888 before you miss out on these beauties! I paid 60 HBD for mine and a little extra for shipping, and it's definitely worth it! 😁
