*89 feline lichens - as a result of ignorance of how to treat this strange spot with a red halo, which suddenly appeared on the leg of our Darynka!

It was in 2018 and remained in my memory as a fun adventure, although then honestly it was scary how from one feline herpes multiplied so much ...

And it was in the village of Lebedivka on the beach, where we spent 20 wonderful days, enjoying an almost wild vacation. We lived in a tent, just went to the village to local cafes to eat. We liked to sit there for three hours, hiding from the midday heat. And while we were charging our phones and writing our posts, our little Darynka also had a lot of fun - she played with local cats, of which there are always many at recreation centers 😀

In these photos you see little pets! And then, when the girl wore them, pressing them to her chest, we couldn't even guess what the consequences of this feline passion would be!

A few days later, I noticed a strange spot in Darinka above the knee, which was a little itchy. My husband told us to anoint her with iodine. And later we googled and realized that it looks like feline herpes!

There were many treatments, but we were in a village where there was no hospital and we could not get a dermatologist's consultation. Imagine, I am a mother of three children, but I have never encountered such a problem before. So I started smearing this stain with an alcoholic tincture of calendula and tea tree essential oil, knowing that I would not do any harm.
I also read that it is useful to lubricate herpes with very salty water and we went to the mud estuary, which was at a distance of 3 km from our place.

It was a beautiful cloudy evening and the beauty of the sky contrasted well with the green water of the estuary.

These small puddles in the estuary were similar in color to sulfur lakes.

We have collected mud that people use to treat diseased joints and skin. My husband believes in the power of this mud, because once upon a time Russian tsars recovered here!

I walked along this warm shoal, where the water is so clear that you can see the bottom and the pattern of seaweed, as well as shells at the bottom.

And there are many dead jellyfish that swam here and stayed here. They are extremely painful and we could not enjoy swimming far into the sea because of them!

And then came the moment when the three of us plunged into the estuary, so that Darinka was not alone, because it was cold outside and she did not want to swim! Now these photos are a happy memory of our family immersion :)

There was a week left until the end of our vacation. And then suddenly the weather got worse! It became very cold. And my daughters and I moved into a room at the recreation center, but our father stayed in the woods in a tent.

It is so cold by the sea in early September and it rains from morning till night for three days - this is a rare phenomenon. That's why we were comfortable at the base.

Darynka really enjoyed lying in a hammock, as well as sitting in a cafe, wrapped in a blanket and eating blue ice cream 😀

Unfortunately, our treatment in the estuarine salt water was ineffective, and after arriving from the sea we spent three weeks in a dermatological hospital ... but who knows, maybe the large amount of estuary salt on Darina's hair saved her from the severe consequences of this problem and her hair did not cut!
