Three days without a car! Stryi is a rover city! - under this slogan was a festival of folk art in the city of Stryi, and again my memories of bright talented people with whom I met in October 2019.

You can read about how I visited this small historical, rich city of talents again for the first time after a long separation here
And so my daughters and I found ourselves in a small courtyard, where I was hospitably met by an old friend for whom I was a secret sympathizer ...

But I could only guess, and many years later he invited me to the festival and greeted me warmly. Yurko Komarnytskyi has always been a star of the city of Stryj and the organizer and host of the festival of the city of Stryj, various cultural and charitable events.
The action took place in the central Rynok Square, where there was a variety of exhibitions of goods and works of art and even attractions. And in the middle there was a place, where our friend Yurko was the host.
So I came for the second time in a few weeks, with my two daughters - @bugavi and @darine.darine. And they also wanted to be on stage on this holiday.

An interesting story of acquaintance with the folk master who creates images for girls with the help of colorful scarves - Olga Bereza, whom I met on FB, and at first glance guessed that this beautiful woman who creates this beauty - and is Olga, with whom I already corresponded. She turned out to be a very cute and nice girl who invited my daughters to be her models on this holiday.
You can see in the photo different girls and how beautiful each of them is in this image. And then they came on stage, where Olga told the story of this folk culture.

Later, another protagonist of this holiday appeared - the director of the People's House of Stryj Oleksandr, who performed in several images at once - but he really plays the violin masterfully!

So, we enjoyed the performances of various dance groups all day, and even the little gypsy children sat by the stage and watched this concert!
Later Victoria helped Yurko run the lottery.

And after the holiday, Yurko invited all the girls to his yard and we drank coffee there and took a photo to talk about this wonderful festival of folk art, which gave us so many new creative friends. We treated them to our coffee in Turkish, and I drank coffee from a cup that said: "With love from Stryi!"

Of course, on this day we also visited our favorite river Stryi! We wanted to continue to organize our coffee club there and come again, but the quarantine began. Our travels have stopped, but I remember this meeting and I will be happy to continue our creative meetings!

My memories are warm and pleasant about the city of Stryi, where people walk and ride bicycles :)
