Autumn is the time to sit by the fireplace, drink hot tea and remember ... And let's write in #saturdaymemories about the city we are in love with and want to go back there again!
Uzhhorod is a city of beautiful landscapes over the river Uzh, cozy cafes on the waterfront with a sharp Hungarian bograch, two-story old houses and unique temples ... A city where I want to walk and explore every corner ...
I go back to 2018, when I visited there twice - in spring and autumn. There I celebrated my anniversary in the elite restaurant of the Old Continent Hotel.
It was a 50% promotion and it was a chic gift. I liked everything there: the old-style room, the piano in the restaurant, the delicious cakes with coffee and even the gym where we were alone!
And then we went for a walk across the footbridge, over which seagulls flew. The small colorful houses on the waterfront looked great. And from afar I saw a tall red building, which was very bright!
It was an old Jewish synagogue that was truly unique in beauty and I wanted to stay there for a long time and thinking about life ... This city is so similar to the small towns of Czechoslovakia where I lived 30 years ago ...
Each street gave us new fascinating impressions: here is the famous Kolya sootblower, which every resident knows about. We stopped and took photos of unique houses and temples...
Inside the temple there is silence and golden luxury. An atmosphere that gives a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to travel and have such wonderful moments, which later are those unique memories ...
So, we came to friends who invited us to the wine tasting cellar, where we had our pleasant meeting.
Thank you for your visit and join the #saturdaymemories initiative and talk about your favorite city, where you were :)
