There is a mountain on the northern border of this peninsula where I live, it has a tunnel passing through, and it's a funny feeling when you get out from this tunnel and find yourself in another region, that is not another in name only, it really looks and feels different. It's a bit like passing through a wormhole in some video game, and appearing in the next area after the loading screen. But this is not what today's post is really about, just a passing thought without photographs to back it up. I had to write it to not forget it ... and will surely appear in some future blog, when I take some pictures around that area. Today's Saturday memory has to start like this : There is a mountain on the northern border of this peninsula where I live, and there is an old folder in my PC ...
... where some fragments of this mountain are stored.
The year was 2011. I went for a hike with some friends, and took only a few photographs on that occasion ... and even some of those ...
... got corroded and changed by molds and humidity in that remote, forgotten corner of the system.
Not all, fortunately ... so you can still see how this cricket really looks.
This portrait turned blue ...
... before losing all its colors.
We found a piece of some mineral along the way. It looked like the seed of another mountain.
This is a post for the #saturdaymemories initiative, initiated by @olga.maslievich
As always in these ramblings on HIVE, the photographs are my work.
