Rambo on the Ramparts: Sunday sunset snippets from the garden

Just before I took to the kitchen, having collapsed on the couch as I threatened in yesterday's post (not to relax but to get my head around a project proposal - keep 🤞), I took a turn around the garden.

The swallows were my first stop. A few days ago (9 to be exact 🙂), I shared photos of what, we thought, was a completed swallows' nest. How wrong were we?

These photos show the extensions to that home over the last three or four days. Yes, we have had rain. There is plenty of lovely mud around.

Agapanthus buds. A harbinger of summer and Christmas.

The "famous" little thyme bush, now in full bloom.

Rambo on the ramparts:

From the ramparts, lauding it over all, like it's been his feifdom, forever:

This is how far (or how high) we have come. A happy Rambo. Settled @ The Sandbag House. It's been just on a year since we started this journey. He's an alpha male, a status he owns (even post neutering). Consequently, real integration may, quite possibly, never happen.

Supper was leftovers with salad which was the other reason for the Sunday stroll: more garden loot for the salad.

Dinner with the President

The day ended as it has not for a while, with an address to the nation. The restrictions haven't been changed. For now. We are relieved and hope it won't be short lived. I may (or not) weigh in on Omicron another time.

Until next time, have a good week and be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:

  • re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
  • and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
I blog to the Hive blockchain using a number of decentralised appplications.
  • From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
