Greetings dear readers, this will be a completely different post than usual in my blog.
We will use a live canvas to capture our art, we must thank my girlfriend @yasmirgs for lending me her back and skin for this Body paint experiment.
The painting was done with a somewhat limited palette of red and dark tones dominantly and a light yellow to create contrast.
I must emphasize that these paints are not made to be applied on the skin and their use can cause allergic reactions, we had this in mind, but we decided to take the risk... all for art!

Saludos apreciados lectores, este será un post completamente diferente a lo acostumbrado en mi blog.
Usaremos un lienzo vivo para plasmar nuestro arte, debemos agradecer a mi novia @yasmirgs por prestarme su espalda y piel para este experimento de Body paint.
La pintura fue realizada con una paleta algo limitada de tonos rojos y oscuros dominantemente y un amarillo claro para crear contraste.
Debo resaltar que estas pinturas no están hechas para aplicar en la piel y su uso puede causar reacciones alérgicas, teníamos esto en cuenta, pero decidimos correr el riesgo... todo por el arte!

Creative process

Well, before applying paint or seeing naked bodies, we must take into account what we want to capture on the skin, so we do our usual sketch and consult with our victim... I mean with our model.
When we have the approval we can continue with the next step.

Bien bien, antes de aplicar pintura o ver cuerpos desnudos, debemos tener en cuenta que queremos plasmar en la piel, por eso hacemos nuestro acostumbrado boceto y lo consultamos con nuestra víctima... digo con nuestra modelo.
Al tener el visto bueno podemos continuar con el siguiente paso.

My biggest brush is a number 16 flat one, it was going to take a long time to apply the background, so we improvised a way to mix and paint much faster, a piece of cloth will help us well in this task.

Mi pincel mas grande es uno plano del número 16, iba a tardar mucho en aplicar el fondo, por eso improvisamos una forma de mezclar y pintar mucho más rápido un trozo de tela nos ayudará bien en esta tarea.

We will let it dry a little before continuing, we always take into account if there is any discomfort in the skin, so we will not let too much time pass.

Dejaremos secar un poco antes de continuar, siempre tenemos en cuenta si existe alguna molestia en la piel, por eso no dejaremos pasar mucho tiempo.

Use a little trick to take the shape of the sketch, after this we can give shape to our character

Use un pequeño truco para tomar la forma del boceto, luego de esto podemos dar forma a nuestro personaje

This photo shows a white tone, but it is a light yellow as a base for the chandelier, for the moment we will not give so many details because we are still defining the figure.

En esta foto se ve de un tono blanco, pero es un amarillo claro como base para la araña, de momento no daremos tantos detalles pues aun estamos definiendo la figura.

We apply some more details such as the lava spider webs among other little things, for the moment we will leave them in light yellow color

Aplicamos un poco más de detalles como las telarañas de lava entre otras cositas, de momento las dejaremos de color amarillo claro

We concluded with details in black paint and orange acrylic, I didn't want to use too much of the latter, because I didn't know if the skin would have some kind of reaction.
I also applied a little more darkness in the background to highlight the character.

Concluimos con detalles en pintura negra y acrílico naranja, no quise usar mucho de esta última, pues no sabia si la piel tendría algun tipo de reacción.
también aplique un poco más de oscuridad en el fondo para resaltar el personaje.

Job done!
we didn't let so much time pass because at this point saudy already felt some discomfort in her skin and we had to remove all the paint. it was a good experience and nice ephemeral work.

no dejamos pasar tanto tiempo pues en este punto saudy ya sentí algo de molestia en su piel y debíamos retirar toda la pintura. fue una buena experiencia y bonita obra efímera.
