Saludos, amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien. Como amante del arte no quiero perder la oportunidad de conocer a los artistas plásticos de la localidad, por ello, no dudé en asistir al conversatorio y exhibición de las obras de Roger Gamboa, el cual se realizó en las instalaciones de Fundapatrimonio. Este maestro del pincel es conocido como “Cronista visual de la ciudad”, dado el detalle que logra capturar en sus piezas.
Gamboa nos habló de su proceso creativo y de su vida, marcada por las tradiciones y costumbres de un pueblo que lo vio crecer y desarrollar sus competencias artísticas. En la exposición pudimos observar varios cuadros, las técnicas van desde pluma hasta el juego con acrílicos y acuarelas sin mucha definición. La audiencia estaba completa, desde estudiantes de arte, otros artistas de renombre, figuras con cargos públicos y familiares del homenajeado.
Me parece interesante una reflexión que hizo: "Nunca terminamos de aprender como artistas". Comparto su filosofía, estamos en formación continua. Existen muchas manifestaciones, el artista decide a través de cuál medio expresarse, el objetivo es emitir un juicio valorativo sobre la sociedad o manifestar sus emociones. El lienzo es perfecto para hacer catarsis, dejándose llevar por los sentidos.
Un dato interesante de resaltar es que su trabajo ha tenido tanto impacto en nuestro territorio que ha sido declarado como "Bien de Interés Cultural" desde el año 2005 por el Instituto de Patrimonio Cultural, lo cual representa su legado y aporte comunitario. Aparte de las pinturas que estaban exhibidas en la sala, he observado otras y pienso que se merece tal distinción. Sin duda, la experiencia y la constancia da buenos frutos.
Me encanta ser miembro activo de este tipo de actividades, pues allí se interactúa con expertos y aficionados, otras personas vinculadas con el universo estético y coordinadores culturales o figuras con cargos administrativos, de modo que sirve para ahondar en el conocimiento.

As an art lover, I don't want to miss the opportunity to meet the local visual artists, so I didn't hesitate to attend the conversation and exhibition of Roger Gamboa's works, which took place at Fundapatrimonio facilities. Gamboa talked to us about his creative process and his life, marked by the traditions and customs of a town that saw him grow and develop his artistic skills. In the exhibition we could observe several paintings, the techniques range from pen to the play with acrylics and watercolors without much definition. The audience was complete, from art students, other renowned artists, figures with public charges and relatives of the homenajeado.
I find it interesting a reflection he made: "We never finish learning as artists". I share his philosophy, we are in continuous training. There are many manifestations, the artist decides through which medium to express himself, the goal is to emit a value judgment about society or to express his emotions. The canvas is perfect for catharsis, letting oneself be carried away by the senses.
An interesting fact to highlight is that his work has had such an impact on our territory that it has been declared a "Cultural Asset" since 2005 by the Institute of Cultural Heritage, which represents his legacy and community contribution. In addition to the paintings that were exhibited in the room, I have observed others and I think he deserves such distinction. Undoubtedly, experience and constancy bear good fruit.
I love being an active member of this type of activity, because there you interact with experts and enthusiasts, other people linked to the aesthetic universe and cultural coordinators or figures with administrative charges, so that it serves to deepen in the knowledge.
