Titans Offense Looked BAD in 16-15 loss vs the Saints

Well it's been several days since the Titans suffered their one point loss to the Saints. Heck, I've taken so long it's nearly time to write about the Chargers game coming up.

This past Sunday the Titans just looked dry offensively. Mainly Ryan Tannehill looked pretty out of it. He got sacked quite a bit, and he's coming off an injury, and it's the first game of the season running a new offense, and the Saints might be a solid team going forward and always have a good defense, but this performance by Tannehill was pretty discouraging.

Tannehill had three interceptions against the Saints, threw for less than two hundred yards, and didn't even complete fifty percent of his passes. Not only that, he just didn't pass the eye test in any way. I was nervous every time he dropped back. He looked super uncomfortable in the pocket.

There was a key drop by second year receiver Treylon Burks, and the Saints also blocked a punt. The refs also seemed to make some terrible errors and a potential fumble return touchdown for the Titans I believe in the second quarter. I felt way worse about Tannehill on Sunday, but it was still really bad. I believe if he were to repeat this for two more games, Tannehill's seat will begin to be very hot. BUT then again I am unsure if the backups in Tennessee are much better. We'll just have to see how Tannehill performs in these upcoming games.

The Titans o-line was a smidge below average and the Titans actually didn't run the ball quite as much as they normally do, sort of odd.

The Titans defense on the other hand, played amazing! Only allowing sixteen points, and just seemed really well balanced at all three levels. I'm so happy they played well, but man I feel bad the offense could not respond and reward them with a win.

Also, the Titans traded for veteran kicker Nick Folk, and he actually made his kicks and kept the Titans in it!! We have a kicker, but now our QB is looking a bit rough, lovely!!! Can't score a single touchdown, but still managed 15 points. It's not a great stat or anything, but hey, it's something.

Yeah, a part of me wants roast Tannehill, but it is the first game and many QBs seemed to play badly in week one. Joe Burrow played worse than Tannehill!

Next week arguably gets more difficult when the Titans play the Chargers. But yeah, that's worth a whole post by itself.

Happy to just finally get this post off my chest. Ugh.

#TITANUP!!!

Here's some cool news!
