Las personas de ficción nunca me defraudarán, son creadas con ciertas características por otras personas a través de un guión escrito e interpretado por actores y actrices. Son personajes que siempre estarán ahí. Incluso cuando desaparezcan de la serie. Un ejemplo de cómo empatizo con los personajes: cuando terminó la segunda temporada de Borakwall Empire, estuve muy disgustada durante varios días. Me puse de muy mal humor, cuando le dieron un destino trágico al personaje de Jimmy Darmody. Esto no es Spoiler, la serie terminó hace bastante tiempo y no es mi culpa si no la has visto, y si no lo has hecho, es porque no te interesa el género de esa serie y nunca la verás. Otro momento fatal para mí ocurrió al final de la penúltima temporada, con la poética despedida del personaje Richard Harrow. A la serie aún le quedaba una temporada más, pero fue el destino del personaje lo que me afectó emocionalmente. ¿Habrá un termino científico para eso? No lo sé, tendré que investigar después en internet. Para los que ven estas series sólo como entretenimiento, entiendo que les cueste entender cómo se crean esos lazos emocionales con los personajes de ficción. Dejo muy claro que los lazos son con los personajes, puedo sentir afecto, o enamorarme de un personaje, el que se ve en pantalla, con una personalidad desarrollada y preparada para la historia, separándolo completamente del actor o actriz que lo interpreta, que solo tiene mi respeto y admiración por su trabajo. *Recuerdo que el final de la cuarta temporada de la serie Gomorra, me dejó otro momento de rabia, en esa oportunidad hasta hice un post para desahogarme y decirle a los guionistas que los odiaba (aunque nunca me leerán) por lo que hicieron con el personaje de Patrizzia.*

*Todo este proceso es más frecuente con las series, aunque por supuesto ocurre con las películas, pero el vínculo con los personajes de las series es más profundo, porque sus historias abarcan varias temporadas, implica un tiempo largo en el que vemos toda su evolución, al tener más tiempo para desarrollar los personajes logramos empatizar con ellos.* Pero cuando una serie o sus personajes influyen en los espectadores de esa manera, lo veo como algo positivo. ¿Por qué? Muy sencillo, el objetivo está conseguido, eso es lo que los creadores quieren, tanto en una película como en una serie, que te remueva los sentimientos, que te haga reír, llorar, sentir rabia por el destino de esos seres que sólo existen en un universo de ficción, pero que aprecias como si los conocieras. Por eso vemos legiones de fans de una serie, si vamos más allá, también es un fenómeno que se da en la literatura, sobre todo con las sagas y en los lectores de cómic también es común ver expresiones de emoción. Ayer vi en youtube un vídeo de reacción al episodio 3 de Better Call Saul y una de las chicas del vídeo se puso a llorar durante un buen rato. Claro que todo tiene un límite, para mí una cosa es mi resaca seriéfila, que en realidad es la depresión post-serie y otra es lo que hacen los fans de la saga de Star Trek, donde hacen congresos, reuniones, festivales y hay gente que hasta se viste como los personajes. No me lo invento, lo vi en un documental hace unos años. Yo no llego a esos niveles de frikismo. Si eres de los que sienten un poco de tristeza cuando termina una serie que has seguido durante mucho tiempo, no pienses que estás loco, es normal, si te apasiona, te absorbe la historia y los personajes, sabes todo de ellos, te han hecho sentir una cantidad diversa de emociones y lógicamente se ha creado un vínculo, que te afectará tanto cuando la historia llegue a su fin como cuando el personaje que quieres, tenga un final terrible. Tampoco estás solo, hay miles de personas que sentirán lo mismo que tú. *¿Te he mareado con lo que he dicho? Bueno, no era mi intención, pero ya sabes que cuando empiezo a hablar de estos temas, es difícil detenerme.* Quería hablar de esto porque este es un año en el que me despido de 3 series y algunos personajes que esperaba que tuvieran un final feliz, pero puede que ocurra lo contrario. El primer trago amargo ya lo pasé hace unas semanas con el final de Killing Eve. Hice una reseña sobre eso y es que le dije a todo el mundo que es un final muy agridulce. No lo voy a contar, sería un spoiler, es una serie reciente. Las otras series son Ozark y Better Call Saul.

The truth is that this family with two psychopathic parents destroyed the lives of anyone who got in their way. Ruth's character was the one I appreciated and as I said in my review of the first part of the last season, which I published three months ago, I expressed my wish for her to have a happy ending, I think she deserved it. #### Ozark *Ozark llegó a su fin el 29 de mayo, las reacciones en Twitter fueron diversas. Algunos no se alegraron, otros expresaron el mismo dolor y satisfacción que yo. Es un final que me dejó mal, fue injusto lo que le pasó a uno de los personajes que más quería de toda la serie. Pero reconozco que era inevitable, la corrupción, los poderosos, el mal triunfa. Tal y como ocurre en la vida real. Por eso el final me ha resultado satisfactorio y he estado absolutamente acorde con la historia desde el principio.* Recordemos que esta es la historia de la familia Byrde, al principio de la serie es sólo Marty el que está involucrado en negocios turbios, pero pronto toda la familia está involucrada en el negocio de la droga y asociada a un cártel mexicano. La familia al completo llega a Ozark y arrasarán con todo lo que encuentran a su paso, haz una retrospectiva de toda la serie y te darás cuenta de que los Byrde no dejaron a nadie en pie, además la pila de cadáveres era grande, unos directamente y otros indirectamente. La verdad es que esta familia con dos padres psicópatas destruyeron la vida de cualquiera que se interpusiera en su camino. El personaje de Ruth era el que yo apreciaba y como dije en mi crítica de la primera parte de la última temporada, que publiqué hace tres meses, expresé mi deseo de que tuviera un final feliz, creo que se lo merecía. En el primer episodio de esta segunda tanda de capítulos se dieron varias señales de su destino final, por cierto, con ese episodio estoy seguro que será nominada a los premios Emmy, premio que ya ha ganado antes por ese personaje. Creo que Zendaya tiene asegurado el premio a la mejor actriz por Euphoria y Julia Garner se lleva el de mejor actriz de reparto de nuevo por Ruth/Ozark. Han sido dos trágicos finales seguidos, el de Ozark fue duro. Ahora tengo que esperar la tercera tragedia, que creo que será fulminante y me causará una importante depresión post-serie. El final de Better Call Saul, que se está emitiendo actualmente y que también se ha dividido en dos partes. Es el que más me afectará, además, parte del equipo y algunos de los actores han declarado en entrevistas que el final será devastador. Muchos fans de la serie están preocupados por Kim y por cuál será su destino. En youtube hay un montón de vídeos de fans especulando con teorías y lo que podría pasar. *Yo era optimista, pero después de dos fuertes golpes, mis deseos de un buen final para Kim se desvanecen.
