En estos días muchas personas están revisando las metas que se planificaron a principio de año para realizar un balance de los resultados obtenidos. Para mí también es algo importante y pues hoy quiero mostrarles una de estas metas en las que tuve que esperar hasta el último mes del año para poder alcanzarla.

La celebración de la navidad coincidió con la primera visita de mi hijo Jeremías a la tierra que vio nacer a nuestros ancestros. Y es que antes de su nacimiento era una deuda que debía saldar pues muchas personas que conozco, parte de la familia y amigos no habían tenido la oportunidad de ver mi pequeño gigante y este 24 de diciembre al fin pudimos hacer esa visita que habíamos esperado durante mucho tiempo.

These days many people are reviewing the goals that were planned at the beginning of the year to take stock of the results obtained. For me it is also something important and today I want to show you one of these goals in which I had to wait until the last month of the year to achieve it.

The celebration of Christmas coincided with the first visit of my son Jeremiah to the land where our ancestors were born. Before his birth, it was a debt that I had to settle because many people I know, part of the family and friends had not had the opportunity to see my little giant and this December 24 we finally had the opportunity to make that visit that we had been waiting for a long time.

La tierra donde nació mi familia tiene nombre y apellido, "Curarigua de Leal", es un valle rodeado por grandes montañas y que por el centro es bañado por el rio "Curariguita". Ir de visita a este pueblo y no disfrutar del rio es como no haber ido.

The land where my family was born has a name and a surname, "Curarigua de Leal", it is a valley surrounded by large mountains and in the center is bathed by the river "Curariguita". Visiting this town and not enjoying the river is like not having been there at all.

Además de la educación de mi familia campesina, considero que una de las cosas mas fundamentales que aprendí estando en estas serranías fue el respeto que se impregno en mi por todas estas maravillas naturales, que desde un principio las asumí como un regalo del majestuoso poder del universo. Regresar allí fue, simplemente reencontrarme, purificar mis pensamientos y sanar para seguir construyendo los caminos necesarios para seguir con esta experiencia de vida.

In addition to the education of my peasant family, I consider that one of the most fundamental things I learned being in these mountains was the respect that permeated in me for all these natural wonders, which from the beginning I assumed them as a gift of the majestic power of the universe. To return there was simply to find myself again, to purify my thoughts and to heal in order to continue building the necessary paths to continue with this life experience.

Ver a mi hijo con la emoción a flor de piel fue increíble, ahora la vista no estaba limitada por una pared, sino que el horizonte siempre se encargaba de pintar un azul celeste que se junta con el verde de los árboles y en el medio una linea azul oscura que fluye con cada uno de los pensamientos mas puros que se puedan crear.

Seeing my son with emotion at the surface of his skin was incredible, now the view was not limited by a wall, but the horizon was always in charge of painting a sky blue that meets the green of the trees and in the middle a dark blue line that flows with each of the purest thoughts that can be created.

El tiempo paso sin darnos cuenta, nos alcanzó para contar todas las piedras del rio y determinar cada una de sus formas, unas eran carritos, otras nubes, también habían ballenas y un sinfín de elementos que encontramos a nuestro alrededor.

Time passed without realizing it, we were able to count all the stones in the river and determine each one of their shapes, some were cars, others clouds, there were also whales and an endless number of elements that we found around us.
