There is nothing more wonderful in life than to make others smile, I have always known it, but when that experience was combined with my long-awaited desire to become a writer, happiness has filled my life. You know, in the first post, the introductory one, I told you that I am a writer, but being a writer in Venezuela is a kind of life path, first you become a writer and if you succeed, you inevitably become an editor.

No hay nada más maravilloso en la vida que hacer sonreír a otros, lo sé desde siempre, pero cuando aquella experiencia se a conjugado con mi anhelado deseo de hacerme escritor la felicidad ha llenado mi vida. Saben, en primer post, el de presentación, les conté que soy escritor, pero ser escritor en Venezuela es una especie de ruta de vida, primero te haces escritor y si lo logras, inevitablemente te haces editor.

Since 2017 I have been editor of the Madriguera Literary Magazine, our main editor is the poet Enni Tucci, who founded it in a year that I will not make an effort to remember, with his beloved colleagues from the “shrew” group. The trip started well, incredible rather, that same year we won the national book award, it was a year of much learning in terms of publishing.

However, I was very unsure of my contribution in other areas of the magazine and my social ability to be able to get quality collaborators, but I discovered that certainly one hand washes the other, Angé (my fiancée and co-editor at the magazine) and Ennio, they had their collaborators, I was making an effort to improve my writing, and the following year I obtained second place in the Hugo Fernández Oviol national prize for young poetry.
Sin embargo, estaba muy inseguro de mi aporte en otras áreas de la revista y mi habilidad social para poder conseguir colaboradores de calidad, pero descubrí que ciertamente una mano lava a la otra, Angé (mi prometida y co-editora en la revista) y Ennio, tenían sus colaboradores, yo estuve esforzándome para mejorar mi escritura, y el año siguiente obtuve el segundo lugar en el premio nacional de poesía joven Hugo Fernández Oviol.

Many friends congratulated me, it was a tremendous joy, and in that process I realized that many people started looking for me, adding me on Facebook, following me on Twitter and Instagram, all from the literary field, and I also realized that was my way to To be able to support the magazine, that year we did very well, although a little reeling in the face of this storm that is living in Venezuela.
Muchísimos amigos me felicitaron, fue una alegría tremenda, y en aquel proceso me di cuenta que muchas personas empezaron a buscarme, a agregarme en Facebook, seguirme en Twitter y en Instagram, todas del ámbito literario, además me di cuenta ese era mi camino para poder apoyar a la revista, ese año nos fue muy bien, aunque un poco tambaleantes ante esta tormenta que es vivir en Venezuela.

And last year I managed to grow and connect with wonderful people, not only because of the award, but also because I was being recognized, a few months ago I won an award that I longed for very strongly, the award for new authors from Monte Ávila Editores Latinoamérica with the book "If you intend to return." Since then I have managed to publish many extraordinary people such as Miguel Antonio Guevara, Cristina Galvés Martos, Giordana Sojo and just in the last issue Thalía Sánchez.
Y para el año pasado logré crecer y conectarme con personas maravillosas, no solo por el premio, sino además por estaba siendo reconocido, hace unos meses gane un premio que anhelaba de forma muy fuerte, el premio para autores noveles de Monte Ávila Editores Latinoamérica con el libro “Si pretende regresar”. Desde entonces he logrado publicar a muchas personas extraordinarias como Miguel Antonio Guevara, Cristina Galvés Martos, Giordana Sojo y recién en el último número a Thalía Sánchez.

Right now I have two pending interviews with two authors that I admire very much, but for now I reserve myself, but it has been a long, very long road, many years, a lot of work, but which has filled me with happiness. Once the writer Gabriel Jimenez Emán told me that a writer has three spheres and the last one is that of socialization, that literature must become part of the world to change it, and we have done that.
