The reactions when coming out of an anesthesia, did it happen to you?

Have you ever been given general anesthesia or sedation? When you are awake again there is a time of confusion and in which it is possible to say anything without any filter, something like being drunk, very drunk.

The first time I was given general anesthesia when I woke up, I spent it asking the anesthetists pointless questions since at that time there was a great conflict in the country over a case of malpractice. I am a journalist and it seems that in my unconscious there was a lot to ask them.

The second time, my son was a baby and it seems that my main concern was not being conscious at that moment and losing control. So when I woke up I spent it wondering where he was and how he was.

Another time I came out insulting who was my boss at that time and saying that I was going to quit the job.

In a procedure with sedation, I came out crying uncontrollably, I think I had a lot of repressed anguish due to the recent death of my father.
At that time, the nurse who was with me told that it was normal that after anesthesia people free themselves and say what they have repressed in their unconscious.

I have been doing some research and, as the nurse said, it seems that after anesthesia, many people experience what is known as a delusion, that is, an alteration of consciousness and thinking and that is why they present confusion, incoherent ideas and anguish that disappear after a while.

What happened to you?
