¡Hola gente de internet! Espero estén muy bien y hayan tenido una muy feliz navidad, como sabrán aparte de la música mi otro delirio es la lectura, el dia de hoy me puse a ordenar mi biblioteca y me gustaría mostrales y hablarles un poco sobre mi trilogía literaria favorita, escrita por Jojo Moyes. ¡Acompañenme a darle un vistazo!

Mi trilogía favorita es la de "Yo Antes de Ti" , la cual una de sus partes fue adaptada a película en el año 2016, la cual fue muy polémica y recibió criticas mixtas ya que tuvo un final muy polémico, ya que promueve el suicidio en personas con discapacidad. Aún así me gusta mucho y me parece una historia muy bonita.
My favorite trilogy is that of "Me Before You", which one of its parts was adapted into a film in 2016, which was very controversial and received mixed reviews since it had a very controversial ending, since it promotes suicide in people with disabilities. Even so, I really like it and it seems like a very nice story.
La primera parte es "Yo Antes de Ti" (Me Before You) la cual narra la historia de Louisa Clarke, la cual empieza a trabajar durante 6 meses cuidando a un hombre de negocios el cual luego de un accidente queda tetrapléjico en una silla de ruedas llamado Will Traynor, el cual luego del accidente cae en una profunda depresión y decide quitarse la vida por eutanasia y el trabajo de Louisa es el de evitarlo. A medida de que transcurre la novela ella se enamora de Will y viceversa, pero el al final decide llevar a cabo su decisión de quitarse la vida y Louisa sufre mucho por su decisión.
The first part is "Me Before You" which tells the story of Louisa Clarke, who starts working for 6 months taking care of a businessman who after an accident is left quadriplegic in a wheelchair named Will Traynor, who after the accident falls into a deep depression and decides to kill himself by euthanasia and Louisa's job is to prevent it. As the novel progresses, she falls in love with Will and vice versa, but he ultimately decides to carry out his decision to kill himself and Louisa suffers greatly for his decision.
La segunda parte es "Después de Ti" (After You) la cual continúa la historia de Louisa Clarke luego de que Will Traynor se quitara la vida, tratando de seguir adelante luego de perder al amor de su vida y los cambios en su vida, como decidir mudarse a Londres, conseguir un trabajo y trabajar por superar el duelo que la embarga, también conoce a Lily la hija de Will y a Sam, un bombero de la cual empieza a enamorarse, y tras un ofrecimiento de trabajo en Estados Unidos ella debe tomar una difícil decisión, si quedarse en Londres con Sam o aceptar su nuevo trabajo.
The second part is "After You" which continues the story of Louisa Clarke after Will Traynor took his own life, trying to move on after losing the love of his life and the changes in his life, Like deciding to move to London, get a job and work to overcome the grief that overwhelms her, she also meets Will's daughter Lily and Sam, a firefighter with whom she begins to fall in love, and after a job offer in the United States she must make a difficult decision, whether to stay in London with Sam or accept the new job.
La tercera y última parte es "Sigo siendo yo" (Still Me) la cual quise comprar y leer en inglés, el cual narra la vida de Lou luego de decidir mudarse a Nueva York por trabajo animada por el recuerdo de Will el cual siempre ledecía que se aimara a probar cosas nuevas, alí trabaja casi de sirvienta para una mujer millonaria que vive en la Quinta Avenida, Louisa todavía lidia con el permanente de Wil, el cual aflora cuando conoce a un hombre muy parecido a el, y que hace que su relación con Sam se vea afectada por los celos.
The third and last part is "Still me" which I wanted to buy and read in English, which narrates the life of Lou after deciding to move to New York for work animated by the memory of Will which always told him That he was encouraged to try new things, there he works almost as a maid for a millionaire woman who lives on Fifth Avenue, Louisa still deals with Wil's permanent, which surfaces when she meets a man very similar to him, and what makes him his relationship with Sam is affected by jealousy.
Lo que hace de esta trilogía mi favorita es que a pesar de ser una historia de amor con un final trágico y tiene un sabor agridulce, es al mismo tiempo hermosa y conmovedora, la he leido varias veces (en especial el primer libro) y siempre me hace pensar ¿que hubiese pasado si Will no hubiese muerto?, y también me gusta la manera en que desarrollaron sus secuelas mostrando como Will logró cambiar su vida para bien, me gusta la manera en la que se da una segunda oportunidad para vivir probando cosas nuevas y también se permite volver a amar, es una historia que te engancha desde el primer momento, de verdad vale la pena leerla. Jojo Moyes logró robarse un espacio en la biblioteca y espero pronto poder mostrarles otros libros de su autoría, como "La chica que dejaste atrás", "Pars para uno y otras historias" y "Uno mas uno".
What makes this trilogy my favorite is that despite being a love story with a tragic ending and has a bittersweet taste, it is at the same time beautiful and moving, I have read it several times (especially the first book) and always It makes me think what would have happened if Will hadn't died? new things and you also allow yourself to love again, it is a story that hooks you from the first moment, it is really worth reading. Jojo Moyes managed to steal a space in the library and I hope soon to be able to show you other books of his authorship, such as "The girl you left behind", "Paris for one and other stories" and "One plus one".
