Quien ama el cactus aprende a querer sus espinas, lo bueno, lo malo, lo que hiere, lo que duele y esperar,que florezca, muchos cactus dan un fruto muy rico.

Mirar el amor a través de los ojos de un niño, el enamoramiento de una madre hacia su hijo recién nacido, esos ojos llenos de inocencia contemplando, sonriendo.

Somos eternos en nuestra descendencia. Somos eternos en los corazones de quienes nos recuerdan con amor.

The cactus is a living example of growing in the midst of adversity and drought, yet with few resources it is able to flourish and bear fruit.

It is wonderful how Mother Nature can often give us the answers we are looking for in our existential questions.

We could be like the cactus that grows even in extreme conditions and provides fruit, shade and beauty wherever it is. Being a small oasis for another living being.

I remember that mommy collected many types of cactus, she adored them, she took care of them with love in spite of being a plant that does not require a lot of care, but she treated them with the same love as the rest of her little plants. Mommy talked to them and told me how important it is to have that contact with them to keep them beautiful, at first I did not see anything special because when I touched them I was pricked and even with time their thorns were still in my fingers. I did not understand her fixation for them.

Until one day, she woke me up with great excitement to see the beautiful flower of one of her cactus, it was so beautiful that I could not believe it and then after a few days it became a small edible fruit and when it reached its due time of maturity, she ate it and distributed a little bit among everyone, with so much joy, it was so sweet, it was grown with much love.

I understood so many things. Everything in our environment moves in a beautiful subliminal language within the bonds of love, if you can see around you, everything is made with love and is beautiful, that which looks dull and sad, you can change with a little love.

I sum it all up in that what you do with love will bear fruit, even if it is a cactus growing in the drought, it grows, shines, blooms and gives life.

El cactus es un vivo ejemplo de crecer en medio de la adversidad y sequía, aun así, con pocos recursos es capaz de florecer y dar frutos.

Es maravilloso como la madre naturaleza puede darnos muchas veces las respuestas que buscamos en nuestra interrogante existencial.

Podríamos ser como el cactus que crece aun en condiciones extremas y proporciona de igual manera frutos, sombra y belleza en el lugar que este. Siendo un pequeño oasis para otro ser vivo.

Recuerdo que mami coleccionaba muchos tipos de cactus, los adoraba, los cuidaba con amor a pesar de ser una planta que no requiere de muchos cuidados, pero ella, las trataba con el mismo amor que al resto de sus plantitas. Mami les hablaba y me contaba lo importante que es tener ese contacto con ellas para mantenerlas lindas, al principio no les veía nada especial pues cuando yo las tocaba me pinchaba y aun con el tiempo sus espinas seguían en mis deditos. no comprendía su fijación por ellas.

Hasta que un dia, me despertó con mucha emoción para que viera la hermosa flor de uno de sus cactus, era tan linda que no podía creerlo y luego al cabo de unos días se convirtió en un pequeño fruto comestible y al llegar a su debido momento de madurez, ella lo comió y repartió un poquito entre todos, con tanta alegría, era tan dulce, fue cultivado con mucho amor.

Comprendí tantas cosas. Todo en nuestro entorno se mueve en un hermoso lenguaje subliminal dentro de los lazos del amor, si puedes ver a tu alrededor, todo está hecho con amor y es bello, aquello que se ve sin brillo y triste, puedes cambiar con un poco de cariño.

Todo lo resumo en que, aquello que hagas con amor dará sus frutos, así sea un cactus creciendo en la sequía, crece, brilla, florece y da vida.

Paso a paso. / Step by Step

I saw a small cactus and it brought back many memories, I traveled to my childhood, it was a wonderful connection. I looked for a way to include it in my design.

Vi un pequeño cactus y me trajo muchos recuerdos, viajé a mi infancia, fue maravillosa conexión. Busqué la forma de incluirlo en mi diseño.

I was not clear about the colors to use, when I finished I realized that they were the appropriate colors for the design, earth colors, alluding to a desert, a dry sunset.

But just at that moment, I decided to put some color and a more cheerful touch, so I thought about drawing a rainbow behind it, however I ended up putting a colorful figure of a brush on the back and I loved the result.

No tenía claro los colores a utilizar, cuando terminé me di cuenta que eran los colores apropiados para el diseño, colores tierra, aludiendo a un desierto, un atardecer seco.

Pero justo en ese momento, decidí colocar algo de color y un toque más alegre, por lo que pensé dibujarle un arcoíris detrás, sin embargo terminé por colocar una figura colorida de un pincel en la parte de atrás y me encantó el resultado.

Because of the time it took me to make the design, I didn't keep a video of the process, plus I wanted to relax a bit, recording yourself while you draw can be a bit stressful and limit your creativity, as your thoughts get distracted by other things.

Por el tiempo que me tomó hacer el diseño, no guardé video del proceso, además quería relajarme un poco, grabarse mientras dibujas puede estresar un poco y limitar la creatividad, pues los pensamientos se distraen en otras cosas.
