La universidad permanecería cerrada hasta 1958, por otra parte, cuando sacas tu carnet estudiantil siempre te sale detrás lo que era la primera sede, por lo que tenia que visitar la primera se4de para ver como era y el por que se le da mucha relevancia. An affectionate greeting to all the community of Hive😁, in this opportunity I will show you what was my visit to two university campuses; The first one, inaugurated in 1893, was formerly called University of Valencia (Valencia is the capital of the state where I live). But it did not last long open until 1904 when the university was closed, leaving only two universities functioning in Venezuela by presidential decree of Cipriano Castro (but no, it was not the only one that had closed because the University of Guayana and the University of Zulia also ceased their activities) only 3 remained open; Central University of Venezuela, Western University and the University of Merida. All this closure was done with the purpose of reducing expenses and maintaining control over the few universities that operated in Venezuela.
The university would remain closed until 1958, on the other hand, when you take out your student card you always get behind what was the first seat, so I had to visit the first seat to see how it was and why it is given much relevance. Como podrán observar, es muy emblemática la primera sede de mi universidad, sigamos con la historia 😊.. para 1955, 3 años antes de la reapertura.. se había creado un campus de salud mental que era referente en todo el continente americano, actualmente es la sede de la Universidad de Carabobo. En imágenes, pueden ver el arco de la entrada del campus y un busto de quien fuera Alejo Zuloaga, el primer rector de la actual Universidad de Carabobo. Ahí pase varios años de mi formación académica, aunque aun sigo en mi universidad.. debido a que aun me falta para culminar mi carrera, ya no estoy allí, actualmente estoy en el área Hospitalaria. Lo que me gustaba de la actual sede, es que te conecta con la naturaleza y es muy espacioso.
As you can see, the first campus of my university is very emblematic, let's continue with the history 😊... by 1955, 3 years before the reopening... a mental health campus had been created that was a reference in the entire American continent, currently it is the headquarters of the University of Carabobo. In pictures, you can see the arch at the entrance of the campus and a bust of Alejo Zuloaga, the first rector of the current University of Carabobo. I spent several years of my academic training there, although I am still at my university... because I still have to finish my degree, I am no longer there, I am currently in the Hospital area. What I liked about the current campus is that it connects you with nature and it is very spacious.
Visite ambas sedes este año 2021, en días diferentes... ambas sedes quedan lejos una de la otra, además que se encuentran en municipios diferentes pero las conectan una misma historia, la historia de controversias de la Universidad de Carabobo. Visit both venues this year 2021, on different days... both venues are far from each other, also they are located in different municipalities but they are connected by the same history, the history of controversies of the University of Carabobo.
