¡Hola a todos nuevamentes mis queridos amigos de Hive! Les conté que hace unos días atrás finalmente me titulé de licenciada en Comunicación Social. Mención: Audiovisual. Pero ya después de obtener el titulo ¿que se hace? Yo sinceramente pensaba en tenerlo así y ya pero mi mamá dijo que los títulos habían que registrarlos para que al momento de introducirlos en un empleo te los acepten. Así que me moví con eso porque también si uno quiere apostillar más adelante se debe registrar de igual manera el título en el registro principal del estado de tu residencia, Por lo tanto les contaré mi experiencia.
Les cuento que iba con algo de preocupación porque lo primero que me habían dicho es que esos tramites tendían a ser muy costosos y yo estimaba que me dirían que tendría un costo más allá de 50$ o algo así, pero la verdad es que no fue para nada lo que me contaron.
Hello everyone again my dear friends of Hive! I told you that a few days ago I finally graduated with a degree in Social Communication. Specialization: Audiovisual. But after getting the degree, what do you do? I honestly thought about having it just like that, but my mom said that the degrees had to be registered in order to be accepted at the moment of applying for a job. So I moved with that because also if you want to apostille it later you must register the title in the main registry of the state of your residence, so I will tell you my experience.
I tell you that I was a little worried because the first thing I had been told was that these procedures tended to be very expensive and I estimated that they would tell me that it would cost more than 50$ or something like that, but the truth is that it was not at all what I was told.
El registro al que yo fui se encuentra ubicado en el centro de Maracaibo. Lo primero que se hace al llegar es una pequeña colita fuera del lugar hasta que abran a las 8:00. Yo llegué a las 7:30 aproximadamente y me anoté en una lista que las mismas personas que esperan hacen.
The registry I went to is located in downtown Maracaibo. The first thing you do when you arrive is wait in a small line outside the place until they open at 8:00. I arrived at about 7:30 and signed up on a list made by the people waiting for me.
Los requisitos que piden para registrar el título son la cedula laminada, una copia reducida del titulo y tu titulo original. Cuando entré al establecimiento vi que varias personas se encontraban haciendo una pequeña colita en un cyber que quedaba allí mismo debajo del registro. Me acerqué y me enteré que en el lugar, por un monto, te imprimían todos los papeles que allí te pedirían más la carpeta por lo tanto pagué el costo y menos mal que lo hice.
The requirements to register the title are the laminated ID, a reduced copy of the title and your original title. When I entered the establishment I saw that several people were standing in a small queue in a cyber-website that was right below the registry. I went there and found out that for a fee, they would print all the papers that they would ask for plus the folder, so I paid the cost and thank goodness I did.
Ya con todo en mano procedemos a esperar que salga la encargada de recoger las cedulas para que luego te llamen por ese orden.
With everything in hand, we proceed to wait for the person in charge of collecting the cedulas to come out and then they will call you in that order.
Te comienzan a llamar de 3 en 3 personas. Recomiendo que al ir, lo hagan temprano puesto que la misma encargada dice que el sistema comienza a volverse lento a partir de las 10:00 A.M.
They start calling you 3 by 3 people. I recommend that when you go, go early since the manager herself says that the system starts to get slow after 10:00 A.M.
Al entrar, la encargada nos llamará y nos dirigiremos a la taquilla 5 donde nos entregaran la cedula y una planilla que debemos imprimir. Por eso les mencioné algunos párrafos arriba que menos mal había pagado el servicio de las copias porque a partir de aquí comenzaremos a bajar y subir escaleras. Por lo menos los que estamos haciendo el proceso en Maracaibo.
When we enter, the attendant will call us and we will go to ticket office 5 where we will be given our ID card and a form to print. That is why I mentioned a few paragraphs above that it was a good thing I had paid for the copying service because from here on we will start going up and down stairs. At least those of us who are doing the process in Maracaibo.
Bajamos por nuestras copias con el papelito que nos dio el señor del cyber al pagar el servicio, nos sacarán una sola copia que llevaremos al punto de venta donde pagaremos un arancel de 0.14 BsD y luego esa persona nos entregará la misma planilla con el recibo de pago que debemos imprimir y sacar dos copias más, o sea serian 3 hojas: las dos copias más la original.
We go down to get our copies with the small piece of paper given to us by the person at the cyber when we paid for the service, they will take only one copy to the point of sale where we will pay a fee of 0.14 BsD and then that person will give us the same form with the payment receipt that we must print and take two more copies, that is, 3 sheets: the two copies plus the original.
Luego volvemos a subir las escaleras y pasaremos por la taquilla número 3 para ingresar nuestro título para que lo registren y nos entreguen una de las planillas que imprimimos que será nuestro comprobante para luego retirar nuestros papeles.
Then we go back up the stairs and go to ticket office number 3 to enter our title so that they can register it and give us one of the forms that we print out, which will be our voucher to pick up our papers.
Y 3 días después fui a retirar mi titulo ya firmado por el registro. Usualmente son 3 días hábiles que te dan para que vayas a retirar el titulo; yo fui un miércoles y me dieron la fecha de entrega para el viernes de esa misma semana.
La verdad que el proceso fue super sencillo y sin necesidad buscar algún gestor como se hace en ocasiones. Si estás interesado luego en apostillar me comentaron que necesitas luego legalizarlo para posteriormente hacer el proceso de apostilla. Con los títulos de mi universidad (LUZ) primero se registra, luego se certifica en uno de los departamentos de la universidad llamado CEDIA y después pasa por la legalización en Caracas para finalmente apostillar, eso sí, debes tener claro el país al que necesitaras utilizar el título puesto que la apostilla deberá ir dirigido a ese lugar. Pero en mi caso como aún no estoy interesada en el proceso puedo terminar de hacer todo el procedimiento de certificación con calma, lo importante es registrar el titulo primero y eso se logró💜
Así que como les decía, el procedimiento es algo sencillo. No se necesita de personas externas que cobren extra por hacer lo que nosotros mismos podemos. Lo que si siento que fue algo desorganizado fue al momento de retirarlo. Pero mientras se mantenga la calma y se sea persistente todo se logra.
And 3 days later I went to pick up my title already signed by the registry. Usually they give you 3 working days to pick up the title; I went on a Wednesday and they gave me the delivery date for Friday of that same week.
The truth is that the process was super simple and without the need to look for a manager as it is sometimes done. If you are interested in apostille, I was told that you need to legalize it and then do the apostille process. With the degrees from my university (LUZ), first you register it, then it is certified in the CEDIA and then it goes through the legalization in Caracas to finally apostille it, of course, you must be clear about the country where you need to use the degree since the apostille must be addressed to that place. But in my case as I am not yet interested in the process I can finish doing the whole certification procedure calmly, the important thing is to register the degree first and that was achieved💜.
So as I was telling you, the procedure is something simple. There is no need for external people to charge extra for doing what we can do ourselves. What I do feel was a bit disorganized was at the time of removal. But as long as you stay calm and persistent, it all comes together.
