Hive and Lifestyle

Sleep, Wakeup, eat, read some books and the cycle repeats. This was basically my routine till I found Hive, or should I say, till Hive found me. I came in contact with hive in one of the most hilarious ways. When my onboarder was explaining how the platform works to me, I felt it was too good to be true. Before then, I wasn't really into the whole crypto and web3 world. I was just in my little circle trying to get by each day.

My onboarder was really patient with me while he was explaining how everything works. He ensured that he told me what I was getting into. As a fast learner, I adapted quickly. Ever since the day I made the decision to join the blog chain, a lot of things have changed about me. The list of the changes is quite lengthy and i wouldn't want to bore you with them so i would try my best to keep it brief. Some of the changes include:

Communication skills

We can all agree that blogchain is a labyrinth of knowledge and complexes. You get to see and interact with people from different walks of life. This alone is exciting. With the excitement comes adaptation.

You can agree that different people have different ways of perceiving information and as such, you would also learn better ways to communicate with people. This way,I have kept my engagement and socialising alive.

Since I joined hive, I've been making conscious efforts to improve my communication skills. Who would want to be in a situation where he/she can't communicate his/her ideas and suggestions clearly and neither can he/she understand what fellow users are trying to say to him? Definitely not me :-)

Consistency

Before now, I can say that I wasn't really consistent with doing things but that changed as I got on Hive. One of the keys to success on Hive is setting goals. Goals like acquiring a certain amount of token in a given span of time. One of my goals has been to make a good post everyday–consistency.

This consistency hasn't only reflected on my Hive contents, it has also reflected in my daily life. I have begun to be consistent with the events in my life, following them up judiciously and the outcome has been amazing so far.

Financial Independence

Many people are working painstakingly towards financial independence. I, for one, am not someone who likes depending on people for things. I was given the badge of 'most independent child' by my parents and I hadn't even met Hive by then. You can only imagine how much that story changed after I met Hive.

Attention to Detail

This is one of the most obvious changes I've encountered because of Hive. With communities like ; Shadow hunters, Wednesday walk, Ecency, photography and lots more, I have developed the attitude of paying more attention to details.

There was a time when I never bothered about shadows. Like why would I be looking for shadows? But that changed. I never knew I was such a good photographer but that changed too.

By paying attention to more details, I realised that there are some talents that have been lying unharnessed. Hive is all about growth and progression. This growth involves harnessing hidden talents too.

The journey so far has been second to none. I would always be grateful that I came across Hive and consequently, ecency. There have been a lot of positive changes in my life and I have Hive to thank for some of the changes.
