If there is someone who listens to us patiently, then it is definitely the so called pets, at our home. Because the poor creature cannot retaliate its anger or hatred towards us. How much ever, you try to drive them away they are back to you, to get pampered.
I have a bird, called Oriental Magpie-robin. A cute little one, being my visitor for the past three years. Though in the beginning, it used to sit in the corner of the garden and make various noises, now with all its courage visits our home regularly. All these started with a piece of biscuit that I used to keep regularly at the kitchen window.
It usually peeps in around 7.00 to 7.30 a.m. for biscuits, which is its favourite. The next entry is about 1.30 p.m. after the call for prayer from the Mosque and later around 4.00 to 4.30 p.m.
Its favourite place is Kitchen window. But if none of us are visible at its sight, it likes to jump and play in the kitchen slab, dining table and jump over the leaf of fan when its switched off.
If I had to brief about it, it likes to play around, in the garden and when we speak to this little bird, it looks into our face until we stop talking to it. It likes to eat only biscuits that are sweet and crispy and not the crispless one. When thirsty, it never eats biscuits unless we serve it water.
