Rain and Sun are both gifts of nature and experiencing both of them is a real blessing. But sometimes we have to also experience the wrath of these in the form flood and drought.

As my country India is experiencing both rain and sun periodically, I too prefer both these - when it is extreme humid I prefer rain and vice versa.

No doubt I enjoyed rain the most, during my childhood (school) days. Our rainy season falls exactly on the opening of new academic year. So we friends used to wait for the announcement of holidays. Having hot Vadas and Pakoras (Indian snack) with a hot cup of tea along with family members while enjoying the rain outside in the evening, is the most evergreen memory experience I could recollect.

While rain in childhood days were fun, it is not the same as we get aged.
Amidst good memories we had some bad experience also especially two years back. Due to continuous downpour of heavy rain most of them lost their dear ones, property, livestocks etc. Also, Commuting becomes difficult. Spread of viral diseases are more. Homes remain cold making us lazy to do our regular jobs.

On the other hand, the bright sunshine wakes us up early, giving us energy to do our daily tasks. When in cold it becomes difficult to drink water here we are foced to keep ourself hydrated. In a moderate heat, its fun to travel.
Usually when extreme heat befalls, the people working in an open area like roads, buildings, parks etc. are advised to take a break in the noon (from 1.00p.m. to 4.00 p.m.) to avoid sunburns. This was initiated by the government.

Thankyou for the patience for stopping by.
