I've been into laundry work for some months now, and I must say, it's one job I have passion for. I have a friend that usually comes around, and anytime he comes, he never seize to wonder how I'm able to wash clothes tirelessly. According to him, he finds laundry one of his biggest tasks in life. He could go to the farm or do hard jobs, but when it comes to laundry, it's a big turn-off for him. He even finds it difficult to wash his personal clothes.
I'm the type of person who finds it hard to wear squeezed clothe...to the extent that I iron my underwear. I remember when I was in school, my colleagues used to make fun of me, on how my clothes were always straightened, compared to someone working in the banking sector. This lifestyle really made me to fancy this job. Neatness!
I must say that, this job is well-paid because its demand is continuous. It's just a small percentage of people that don't patronise laundry workshops.
Crazy part of the job
There are these ladies that would take their semi-underwear to the laundry guys to work on.
This thing makes me wonder because these clothes are stuffs that they could easily wash within a few minutes with no stress.
I have a lady like that; she brings everything except her pants and bra. And for sure, I charge her highly too because... (let me stop hereš¤§)
