The month of December started 3 days ago. And we already feel the dry breeze of its season. This is to show the winter season is here. Well in Africa we call it the harmattan season. It is a dry season with a dry breeze. This season starts from November to January depending on the part you reside. My friends in the north are already having the strong wind of the season. While here in the south we still experience rain but today I felt the cool atmosphere which says harmattan is truly here.
This is my best season of the year because we wouldn't have to feel the heat but I still dislike it because of the dryness. Many people are prone to catarrh and cough due to dust. This period you can also experience dryness in your body and lips and can get injured faster which is more painful.
For this season, I have already gotten my sweat pants, sweater, and lip gloss ready for the dry season. I want my skin to be moisturized.
I really don't have a lot of plans during this period. Right now I am currently at school and will return home soon for Christmas break.
During the winter/harmattan period I don't like going out because of how the weather is. I prefer staying indoors and watching movies.
I only go out with family and friends on rare occasions, other times I attend a Christmas carol or picnic held in my church.
