Fall is....my most beautiful season. Ecency star prompt.

The ring of the telephone brought Amelia out of her reverie. She had been lost in thought again but can you blame her? Who would have thought that her life would take such a drastic turn for the better. She would be tying the kmot soon to her heartthrob plus she would also be opening her own law firm and be her own boss...no more working for grumpy Joe she thought to herself happily.

"How did I get so lucky" she said out loud. "Did I perhaps stumble upon a fairy and got blessed magically because this seems too good to be true" she went on. Ignoring the ringing phone, she walked into her closet to look at the most beautiful wedding dress she has ever seen. The sparkles in her eyes confirmed the overwhelming joy in her heart.

Amelia met charles by accident when he came to see her boss grumpy Joe concerning a case. She had woken up on the wrong side of her bed that fateful morning. She was frustrated with the traffic jam and was almost late for work. When she finally arrived at the office, Charles probings for her boss irritated her and she snapped at him. Surprisingly, he was patient wirh her, even answering her kindly which disturbed her cause clients usually treated her with disdain which has led to her developing a thick skin.

She looked up at him for the first time that morning and her breath ceased for some seconds. Her ice cold heart *which she taught was immune * began to beat even skipping a beat. "I apologise for my behavior earlier, I am grumpy this morning for some reason" she said to him. "No problem ma'am, I hope you are ok?" He asked her. "Yes I'll be fine probably after lunch" she replied on a lighter note which earned her a chuckle from him.

"I'm Charles, pleased to meet you, Miss...?" He asked. "Amelia, it's nice meeting you as well" she replied smiling and thus began a blossoming relationship. They dated for about a year and finally he popped the question and sealed it with a diamond ring when he got a resounding "yes" from her. The wedding date has been scheduled for the last week of October, towards the end of Autumn right before winter begins.

Amelia has always loved Fall season. The season when the leaves turn a golden hue and carpet the soil brilliantly in a prismatic array. Her parents held their wedding in the fall, she hopes to carry on the tradion and pass it on to her daughters.

To Amelia, there was no better season with the right weather, scenery and kaleidoscope of colours that would be splendid for her glorious day than the Fall. Fall is my most beautiful Season she thought as she smiled brightly, closing the closet which held her wedding dress. That smile lingered on like the sun setting in the Western sky. Everything is just right she said.
