Great new changes are coming to the game of Splinterlands, changes that will revolutionize the way the game is played and change the strategies to choose in order to win a game battle: - **Soulbound Rewards Cards** - introduction of **3 New Abilities**: - 75% chance of having **3 Rulesets** in Gold+ league battles. A Soulbound card will bind to its owner for a long time. However, the **Soulbound attribute will not be a permanent limitation but only temporary** as clarified in this [post](https://peakd.com/splinterlands/@splinterlands/announcing-the-new-chaos-legion-reward-cards) by Splinterlands: >At that point, the current set of soulbound reward cards will no longer be available in loot chests, having been replaced by the new set, and the old set will then be able to become unbound by staking DEC into the cards, a portion of which can then be reclaimed later by burning them. This means that the new reward cards will be soulbound for a long time and until the new set of cards is released (time estimated by Splinterlands 1-2 years). With the release of the new Reward cards there will also be the **reintroduction of the use of potions in opening chests**. Another new feature will be the **possibility of finding multiple copies of a Reward card in a single chest**. Gladius cards are very strong medium cards because they all have the **Bloodlust** ability. Among the new Reward Cards will be **6 rare summoners** with the **Conscript** ability (1 summoner per element excluding neutral element). The **cost in mana** will be **6** and each summoner will allow **one Gladius card** to be used in Ranked Battles and tournaments. If you are not part of a Guild and have never participated in Brawls I suggest you do so otherwise you will not be able to use Merits to buy and open Gladius Case packs and you will not be able to use Gladius cards in rankde battles and tournaments. This ability increases the weight of the **positioning** choice. For example, I would not exclude the possibility of placing a card with the Martyr ability in first position in front of a very strong card and in combination with cards that have the **Resurrect** ability. For example, a card with the Martyr ability could also be placed in first position if it has few life points. Marisol Contuma thanks to the Reach ability will attack every round from the second position and every time the card in the first position is eliminated it will increase its stats by +1 and it could get to the first position with the following stats: - attack: 9 - speed: 8 - life points: 12 - armor points: 7 At this point it would be really difficult to eliminate Marisol Contuma considering also its Bloodlust ability. In battles in the **Gold+ leagues**, **tournaments** and **Brawls** there will be a **75% chance** of having **three Rulesets** at the same time instead of two. Initially I did not like the idea of Soulbound Reward Cards but when I read about the future possibility of removing the Soulbound attribute I reconsidered my position. **I really like the new abilities** because they will expand the game dynamics and broaden the range of strategic choices in battle. **I like that it rewards those who have been playing in the Brawls for a long time** and who have accumulated a number of Glaudius cards that they will now be able to use outside the Brawls. The changes that will be introduced soon should also reduce the usefulness of using BOTs and should **incentivize human game activity** but on this possible effect I am not very sure. I have never used BOTs because **I like playing on Splinterlands but it has been a long time now that using BOTs is more profitable than playing manually**. La caratteristica **Soulbound non sarà però una limitazione definitiva ma solo temporanea** come precisato in questo post da Splinterlands: >At that point, the current set of soulbound reward cards will no longer be available in loot chests, having been replaced by the new set, and the old set will then be able to become unbound by staking DEC into the cards, a portion of which can then be reclaimed later by burning them. Questo vuol dire che le nuove reward cards saranno soulbound per molto tempo e fino al rilascio del nuovo set di carte (tempo stimato da Splinterlands 1-2 anni). Con il rilascio delle nuove Reward cards ci sarà anche la **reintroduzione dell'utilizzo delle pozioni nell'apertura dei forzieri**. Un'altra novità sarà la possibilità di trovare in un singolo forziere più copie di una Reward card. Le carte Gladius sono carte mediamente molto forti perchè hanno tutte l'abilità **Bloodlust**. Tra le nuove Reward Cards ci saranno **6 evocatori** rari con l'abilità **Conscript** (1 evocatore per ogni elemento escluso l'elemento neutrale). Il **costo in mana** sarà di **6** e ogni evocatore permetterà di utilizzare **una carta Gladius** nelle Ranked Battles e nei tornei. Se non fai parte di una Gilda e non hai mai partecipato alle Brawls ti consiglio di farlo altrimenti non potrai utilizzare i Merits per acquistare e aprire i pacchi Gladius Case e non potrai utilizzare le carte Gladius nelle rankde battles e nei tornei. Converrà quasi sempre posizionare una carta con l'abilità Martyr nelle **posizioni 2-5** per fare in modo che l'abilità Martyr aumenti le statistiche di due carte invece che di una sola. ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/libertycrypto27/23xpTU8Yy5c3HrN2YMRo1Ndf65Xza92CEs4zowrCk2eCSUnSVzhdKNFKrkMFmReZjm8it.png) Potrebbero esserci però anche delle eccezioni. Ad esempio non escluderei la possibilità di posizionare una carta con l'abilità Martyr in prima posizione davanti ad una carta molto forte e in combinazione con carte che hanno l'abilità **Resurrect**. Ad esempio una carta con l'abilità Martyr potrebbe essere messa anche in prima posizione se ha pochi punti vita. Nello schema seguente ho immaginato un possibile utilizzo di uan carta con l'abilità Martyr in prima posizione davanti a **Marisol Contuma** di livello 4 e utilizzata insieme a **Adelade Brightwing** e **High Priest Darius**. ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/libertycrypto27/23xVXYUtBuNnoVbRS8u3WgG6p9TuMvAzobyM8pT7As6cv6T3916qqQXRsHL6sAV9JTLgL.png) La carta con l'abilità Martyr avrebbe la possibilità di aumentare le statistiche di Marisol Contuma per ben 3 volte perchè ogni volta che verrà risorta potrà riapplicare gli effetti dell'abilità Martyr. Marisol Contuma grazie all'abilità Reach attaccherà ad ogni round dalla seconda posizione e ogni volta che la carta in prima posizione verrà eliminata aumenterà le sue stats di +1 e potrebbe arrivare in prima posizione con le seguenti stats: - attacco finale: 9 - velocità finale: 8 - punti vita: 12 - punti armatura: 7 A questo punto sarebbe davvero difficile eliminare Marisol Contuma considerata anche la sua abilità Bloodlust. Nelle battaglie nelle **leghe Gold+**, nei **tornei** e nelle **Brawls** ci sarà una **probabilità del 75%** di avere **tre Rulesets** contemporaneamente invece di due. Inizialmente non mi era piaciuta l'idea delle Soulbound Reward Cards ma quando ho letto della futura possibilità di rimuovere l'attributo Soulbound ho riconsiderato la mia posizione. **Mi piacciono molto le nuove abilità** perchè amplieranno le dinamiche di gioco e amplieranno il ventaglio di scelte strategiche in battaglia. **Mi piace che venga in qualche modo premiato chi da tempo gioca nelle Brawls** e che ha accumulato un certo numero di carte Glaudius che adesso potrà utilizzare anche al di fuori delle Brawls. Le modifiche che saranno introdotte a breve dovrebbero anche limitare l'utilizzo dei BOT e **incentivare l'attività di gioco umano** ma su questo possibile effetto non sono molto sicuro. Non ho mai utilizzato i BOT perchè **mi piace giocare su Splinterlands ma è ormai molto tempo che utilizzare i BOT è più profittevole di giocare manualmente**.
