La nueva versión del juego Splinterland con las nuevas habilidades y reglas de batallas está siendo un éxito a mi parecer, cada día se encuentran nuevas estrategias y formas de utilizar cada una.
Recientemente volví a las batallas de clanes y me dio la oportunidad de probar batallas de mayor intensidad, pero además también la de poder obtener recompensas increíbles que ahora pueden ayudarme incluso en las batallas clasificatorias con los nuevos invocadores, que permiten utilizar cartas gladius.
En este post les mostrare como me fue utilizando mi más reciente adquisición “Quora Towershead” en las batallas clasificatorias.

The new version of the Splinterland game with the new skills and rules of battles is being a success in my opinion, every day you find new strategies and ways to use each one.
Recently I went back to clan battles and it gave me the opportunity to try battles of higher intensity, but also to get incredible rewards that can now help me even in ranked battles with the new summoners, which allow the use of gladius cards.
In this post I will show you how I did using my most recent acquisition "Quora Towershead" in the qualifying battles.

Hace pocos días tuve la oportunidad de abrir una caja Gladius gracias a la finalización de un Brawl que me dejo la suficiente recompensa para ello, ahí obtuve a la carta épica "Quora Towershead" del elemento tierra, que tiene doble ataque (Mágico y Cuerpo a Cuerpo) sumado además a las habilidades “Curar” y “Sed de Sangre” que le restaura una porción de vida en cada ronda, y con cada muerte aumenta sus estadísticas en general, una carta peligrosísima.
A few days ago I had the opportunity to open a Gladius box thanks to the completion of a Brawl that left me enough reward for it, there I got the epic card "Quora Towershead" of the earth element, which has double attack (Magic and Melee) plus the skills "Heal" and "Bloodlust" that restores a portion of life in each round, and with each death increases your overall stats, a very dangerous card.

Sumado a eso la primera carta Reward ligada al alma que recibí a principios del mes que está corriendo fue justamente el invocador “Lobb Lowland” que tiene la habilidad “Conscript” la cual me permite utilizar una carta gladius + en cualquier batalla incluyendo las clasificatorias donde anteriormente no se podía utilizar.
Por lógica lo primero que se me ocurrió fue utilizarlo en las batallas clasificatorias y la verdad he tenido resultados absolutamente arrolladores.
En las batallas que se utilicen bien es una victoria casi segura, puede que sea caro poder invocarlos por la cantidad de mana que solicita, pero vale mucho la pena y por aquí les dejó unos ejemplos de algunas batallas en las que los utilice.
In addition to that, the first soulbound Reward card I received at the beginning of the current month was the summoner "Lobb Lowland" which has the ability "Conscript" which allows me to use a gladius + card in any battle including the qualifiers where previously it could not be used.
Logically the first thing that occurred to me was to use it in the qualifying battles and the truth is that I have had absolutely overwhelming results.
In the battles that are used well is an almost certain victory, it may be expensive to invoke them by the amount of mana requested, but it is well worth it and here are some examples of some battles in which I used them.

En esta primera batalla me encuentro con la regla de oportunista, lo que hace que pueda colocar a mi carta en última posición a salvo de cualquier ataque, pero también que pueda usar tanto su poder mágico como su poder cuerpo a cuerpo, pero un plus es haber colocado al lado a “Fungus Flinger” con la habilidad “Martyr” y le sube las estadísticas antes incluso que elimine a su primer monstruo, subiéndole también las habilidades a “Regal Peryton” dejando la balanza a mi favor completamente.

También lo probe prácticamente sola con una carta de apoyo y sin reglas específicas, pero sin demasiado apoyo sino más bien es como seguridad ante cualquier cosa que pueda pasar si terminaba cayendo, en ese caso acompañada con “Venator Kinjo”.
I also tested it practically alone with a support card and without specific rules, but without too much support but rather as security against anything that might happen if it ended up falling, in that case accompanied with "Venator Kinjo".

Incluso que el mana sea justo para el invocador y ella, sin reglas ni nada que haga un balance a tu favor, sino que probando que alineación con ese mana pueda ser tan buena como para derrotarla, en este caso si me toco en varias ocasiones pero hasta ahora no he caído derrotado.
Even that the mana is fair for the summoner and her, without rules or anything that makes a balance in your favor, but testing that alignment with that mana can be as good as to defeat her, in this case if I touched me several times but so far I have not fallen defeated.

Por último también he tratado que las cartas de apoyo sean mucho más fuertes que lo que normalmente son, en este caso colocando nuevamente a “Fungus Flinger” entre nuestra amiga y “Djinn Biljka” para subir su ataque mientras aprovecha la habilidad de camuflaje, esto teniendo en cuenta que el Snipe y Escabullirse no podían usarse en la batalla y era casi seguro que me encontraría con algún oportunista.
Finally I have also tried to make the support cards much stronger than they normally are, in this case placing again "Fungus Flinger" between our friend and "Djinn Biljka" to increase her attack while taking advantage of the camouflage ability, this taking into account that the Snipe and Sneak could not be used in battle and it was almost certain that I would encounter an opportunist.
Conclusiones Finales:
Creo que es el mejor momento para poseer cartas Gladius, así como “Quora Towershead” existen muchas otras cartas que pueden ser muy fuertes en las clasificatorias y te podrían ayudar a subir bastantes puestos.
Considerando que es relativamente más fácil conseguir a los nuevos invocadores ligados al alma, me parece un momento perfecto para que se integren a las batallas de clanes y buscar conseguir cajas Gladius, esto seguramente también subirá el nivel de los brawl ya que estarían entrando personas que son buenas pero que no le prestaban demasiada atención a ese tipo de enfrentamientos.
Todo es para bien dentro de Splinterland, siguen los buenos momentos y apenas estamos en el segundo mes del año, imagínense cuando lleguemos a la 2da parte del año cuando la hoja de ruta del juego nos tienen mas sorpresas.
Final Conclusions:
I think this is the best time to own Gladius cards, as well as "Quora Towershead" there are many other cards that can be very strong in the qualifiers and could help you climb quite a few ranks.
Considering that it is relatively easier to get the new soulbound summoners, it seems to me a perfect time for them to join the clan battles and look to get Gladius boxes, this will surely also raise the level of the brawl as people who are good but didn't pay too much attention to that kind of confrontations would be entering.
Everything is for the best in Splinterland, the good times continue and we are only in the second month of the year, imagine when we get to the second part of the year when the roadmap of the game will have more surprises for us.
