THE FORGOTTEN ONE
The Forgotten One is a Chaos Legion monster that is liked by probably every splinterlands player out there and for good reasons too. This is the only Chaos Legion monster that has the Immunity ability at level 1. This makes him a great monster to have even in bronze or even novice levels. He even becomes much more powerful at level 3 with Retaliate. At that level he can act as a great tank or even a good counter in the Super Sneak ruleset. The last ability this monster gets is Piercing which proves to be very useful considering the high damage he comes with.
Speaking of high damage, I like that this monster starts with a 4x damage and is maxed to just 6x. This way, he is not overpowered when the retaliate and piercing abilities are added. The speed of The Forgotten One is also ok to me at lower levels but may not be that good at higher levels.
Well, to compensate for the low speed, this guy comes with some decent armor. His health is also pretty good starting at 8x up to 10x. So yes, he may be slow but he can return hits and stay alive for long.

The Battle Highlights

Round 1:
- Tarsa increases my monsters' health and adds an extra damage to the melee monsters. Obsidian increases the damage of Spirit Hoarder and Queen Mycelia.
- Queen Mycelia grants all enemy monsters +2 toughness.
- Very quickly, Iza The Fanged takes out Scorch Fiend from behind and gains one health off him.
- Scavo Firebolt and Radiated Scorcher attack the Hill Giant.
- The Hill Giant returns an attack on Scorch Fiend and immediately Spirit Hoarder takes him out.
- Chaos Agent is forced to the frontline where he is hit with a 2x magic attack by Queen Mycelia.
Round 2:
- The noxious fumes affects the monsters taking out Chaos Agent and Fungus Fiend. Of course, Forgotten One is unaffected.
- Iza the Fanged throws a blade at Scavo Firebolt.
- Scavo Firebolt immediately reacts by destroying the Hill Giant.
- Forgotten One destroys the armor of Spirit Hoarder.
- Spirit Hoarder heals up Queen Mycelia and then throws magic balls at Forgotten One.
- Queen Mycelia follows with a similar attack on Forgotten one.
Round 3:
- The noxious fumes hit again taking out Scavo Firebolt and Spirit Hoarder.
- Iza the fanged and Queen Mycelia focus their fire at Forgotten One.
- The lone fire warrior hits Queen Mycelia but only destroys her armor.
Round 4:
- The noxious fumes affect Iza The Fanged and Queen Mycelia but Queen Mycelia does not survive.
- Iza gains off Queen Mycelia making her health 5x but it proves to be useless because Forgotten One hits her with a 5x attack that ends her. DEFEATED!
Victory!
This was not a game of strength but a game of endurance. The Earth team was not able to recognize this and it cost them dearly. Well, their loss is definitely my gain.

Did My Strategy Work?
My strategy worked 100%. My objective was to keep Forgotten One alive for as long as possible. To do that, I put him in the middle where he could not be hit by direct attacks. I had a pretty decent defense with Scorch Fiend taking the initial hit from Iza.
My frontline was also pretty good. The two 1 mana monsters were just there to absorb some initial damage and that is exactly what they did. By the time Forgotten One got to the frontline, victory was already guaranteed.
Do I like the Forgotten One
Yes I absolutely love this monster. For me, this monster is unique because it is a chaos Legion card that has the Immunity ability right from level 1. He can last longer in battles because of this immunity as demonstrated in today's battle.
Although not used today, I also like the retaliate ability. I especially like to use Forgotten One as a sneak defense because of its Retaliate. It works pretty nicely.
