Splinterlands challenge - Lost Magic | Drybone Barbarian is MVP

Hello all #Splinterlands friends,
This is my entry for the Battle Mage Secrets weekly challenge.
This week's theme is the Lost Magic, so I want to share a recent battle with this ruleset.

The battle ruleset

  • 45 mana cap - a high mana battle
  • Ruleset - Target Practice, Lost Magic and Equalizer
  • Splinter - Fire, Light and Death can be used in this battle

My team lineup

With these rulesets, I again chose Light Splinter in this battle because I have several high-attack monsters in my Light element. Indeed, it's really similar to my previous weekly challenge

SummonerFranz Ruffmane- I use him because I want to use the Gladiator card in this battle and have +1 armor to protect my monsters
1st positionDrybone Barbarian - he is always my 1st choice as a tanker. I love his Retaliate skill which is very useful in many cases
2nd positionMarisol Contuma - the Gladiator with 5 melee attack and can attack from 2nd position with his Reach ability
3rd positionSandworm - another monster with 5 melee attack and can attack the backline monster with Sneak ability
4th positionUraeus - 1 more monster with Sneak ability and I also love his Poison skill
5th positionPelacor Conjurer - he has no attack but good speed and *Fly ability that can help him to evade some attacks from enemy
6th positionGobson Bomber - he has Camouflage so he is not the target with Target Practice ruleset, besides that, he can deal more damage with Recharge and Piercing

  • My enemy also chose Light Splinter with level 4 General Sloan as the summoner to give all range monsters a +1 attack, which is very powerful in this battle.
  • I had some luck when my Drybone Barbarian could do some counter-attack and killed another Drybone Barbarian in the 1st round. Besides that, my Pelacor Conjurer also could evade the attack as planned.
  • Finally, my team won the battle after 4 rounds. My Drybone Barbarian is the MVP of this battle. He killed a totally of 4 monsters, even though he only had 1 HP left.

That's all for now.
I hope you enjoy this battle and have a nice weekend!
