The 7PM EST Sunday Splinterlands lore Trivia Giveaway is almost here!
Every Sunday at 7PM EST we ask lore questions and the first correct answer will recieve a prize of DEC, SPS, or a Card. We host it on the Splinterlands Lore Discord Server linked below!!! The lore server also acts as a repository of all the amazing lore sources the Devs have given us over the years. The lore is so good, and encouraging players to read it is why @Drabs587 and I started it! We've been so proud of how far everyone has come, and how well many of these players know the lore now! It's quite impressive.

We all gather together to really celebrate and appreciate the amazing lore of the game! Last week we talked about the how Selenia Sky has the all time best win total in all of mount mox. She's the best, and she knows it. Though she has no scales, she does have pure fire blood, and most dragons allow her to ride them despite not being an approved Gloridax Rider because she earned their respect in battle.
We also talked about the massive Ruler of the Seas, the Ocean Oracle himself, who wields the Orb of Tekuupor despite needing no weapons to channel his incredible magical power. Ruler of the Seas dwells deeper in the oceans than most can dive, and Valnamor, who theoretically could dive that deep for a few seconds, claims to have met him down there and befriended him. Many are skeptical, but maybe we'll see some confirmation or proof against it in future sets! Ruler of the Seas is quite an interesting character!
We also talked about the Azmare Fisherman, whose most elite members wield harpoons, and their ship song:
Which would I rather hold?
A spoon, it must be filled,
And the soup is always cold.
A spoon requires giving,
And I've never been so bold.
So give me a harpoon,
So that my family be fed,
And help me catch a fish
With my harpoon.
All the fisherman of Azmare typically have very large families to feed, which makes the particularly dangerous way the fisherman are forced to make a living by the brutal Azmare conditions that much more heartbreaking.

An Extra Special Thank you to @clove71 and @ivarbjorn for starting their own Lore Trivia Giveaway on Clove's server. I am so excited that others are starting to carry the torch for the games lore, and I'm super excited to see more fans get excited about the lore. The day is not far off that lore will be discussed openly in the official discord I believe! I've loved watching many in the community learn more about the lore and fall in love with it as many of us also have!
Hints
I will be spreading questions over more splinters instead of focusing one or two at a time. This will make it a little more difficult for those coming here for hints, and I do apologize for that. Trying to be more fair and less predictable!
