Mastering the Unprotected Realm: Immortalis Symphony in Fog!

Today, let's delve into the intricacies of the Unprotected ruleset—a battlefield shrouded in the enigmatic fog of war and governed by the mystic counterspell. Our journey unfolds under the watchful gaze of Immortalis, a summoner of unparalleled mastery in the face of magical reflection.

Using Unprotected ruleset to win a battle!

RULESET: Unprotected

Description:

All armor is removed from units and one cannot gain armor.

Shield and Divine Shield are unaffected.

The Strategy

Immortalis: Guardian Against the Arcane Tide

In the realm of Unprotected battles, where the air crackles with mystical energies and every monster wields the potent magic reflect ability, the choice of summoner becomes paramount. Immortalis, with its ability to shield the team from magic reflect, emerges as the beacon of protection. The fog of war may obscure the battlefield, but under Immortalis' watchful eye, your team stands resilient against the arcane tide.

Pelacor Mercenary: Aerial Resilience Unleashed

To lead the charge into the fog-laden skies, the Pelacor Mercenary takes flight as a formidable flying tank. With the self-healing prowess and an added layer of resilience through Goblin Psychic's mending touch, the Pelacor Mercenary becomes an impervious force, weathering the storm of magical assaults. In the Unprotected ruleset the Pelacor Mercenary soars above, impervious to the magical reflections that dance in the fog.

Regal Peryton: A Swift Tempest

Swift, elusive, and delivering a tempest of three magic damage, the Regal Peryton assumes a pivotal role in unraveling the opponent's defenses. Though the Unprotected ruleset removes the armor that usually shields tanks, the Regal Peryton's speed and relentless assault make it an asset worth embracing. In the dance of shadows, the Regal Peryton strikes swiftly, a harbinger of arcane chaos.

Queen Mycelia: Supportive Elegance

Bearing the title of legendary support, Queen Mycelia graces the Unprotected battlefield with her elegant prowess. In this symphony of chaos, Queen Mycelia's triage ability becomes the healing melody, attending to the wounds of Mycelic Slipspawn. The amplify ability, ever-ready, awaits the call to empower the team against the unseen magical threats that linger in the fog.

Goblin Psychic: The Healer

From the depths of common rarity arises the mystical Goblin Psychic. In the Unprotected ruleset, where silence and affliction echo through the fog, Goblin Psychic lends its abilities to the ensemble. Providing a secondary heal to the tank, wielding the power of silence, and afflicting adversaries, the Goblin Psychic becomes a versatile ally in navigating the unseen battlefield.

Supply Runner: Fleet-footed Support

With swift strides, the Supply Runner emerges as a fleet-footed companion, hastening the pace of the friendly team through the fog-laden battleground. Strengthening every ally and wielding three ranged damage, the Supply Runner contributes to the overarching strategy, enhancing the team's potency and fortitude in the face of the arcane unknown.

Mycelic Slipspawn: Guardian of Shadows

In the shadows of the Unprotected realm, Mycelic Slipspawn dons the mantle of a rare Chaos Legion core set guardian. As a taunt monster, it weaves a web of confusion, slowing down opponents and compelling them to dance to the unseen rhythm. With a formidable health pool and the coveted Forcefield ability, Mycelic Slipspawn becomes the stalwart guardian, deflecting attacks that dare breach the veil of fog.

Conclusion: Unveiling Victory in the Fog

As the symphony of Unprotected ruleset battles unfolds, each note resonates with the strategic harmony crafted by Immortalis, Pelacor Mercenary, Regal Peryton, Queen Mycelia, Goblin Psychic, Supply Runner, and Mycelic Slipspawn. Through the fog of war and the haze of counterspell, our team maneuvers with precision and resilience, unveiling victory in the unseen realms.

The Summoner

Immortalis is a great summoner to use in battles where you would expect a lot of magic attackers or heavily shielded monsters. I used it in the unprotected ruleset due to the fog of war ruleset and counterspell ruleset where all monsters have magic reflect ability. As you can see the summoner protected my team from the magic reflect and worked great for the unprotected ruleset.

1st Slot - Tank

Pelacor Mercenary is a great flying tank with self heal, combined with the heal from Goblin Psychic it becomes a very resilient tank.

2nd Slot - Fast Attacking Monster

Regal Peryton is a very fast flying monster that is hard to hit and that delivers three magic damage. I like using this monster to shatter tank armor as it normally fires first, however in this case there is no armor due to the unprotected ruleset, but this monster still works great.

3rd Slot - Triage Monster

Queen Mycelia is a very useful legendary support monster, in this case I am using her primarily for her triage ability to heal Mycelic Slipspawn, but also for her amplify ability in case our opponent brings any magic attack monsters.

4th Slot - Tank Heal Monster

Goblin Psychic is a very useful common rarity monster from the Chaos Legion core ruleset. I used it in this battle in order to give a second heal to our tank as well as for his silence and affliction abilities.

5th Slot - Speed Control Monster

Supply runner is a great monster to speed up our whole team. It also strengthens every monster on the friendly team and has a respectable three ranged damage.

6th Slot - Taunt Monster

Mycelic Slipspawn is a rare Chaos Legion core set member. I used it as a taunt monster and to slow down the opponent so that they get more misses against our flying tank. It also comes with a very good health of twelve and Forcefield that is very useful against attackers that do five or more damage.

THE BATTLE

Looks like our opponent decided to go with a blue team that also featured a taunt monster and double triage.

In the first round we exchanged blows with magic reflect taking some toll on their second triage monster. Pelacor Mercenary scored a dodge and a retaliate in the first round hopefully his luck continues.

In the second round we took out their second triage with an amplified magic reflect, unfortunately their salty bear was able to land on our tank and nerfe his damage down to just one.

In round three we were able to take out their taunt monster. Our tank is holding his own pretty good despite eleven melee damage pointed at him per round from the first two enemy monsters. He continues to dodge and heal.

After round four the picture is pretty clear, we are on the path to a clear win after taking out their tank and reach monsters:

And in round five it is all over without loosing a single monster on our team!

Over nine SPS is a sweet reward for our victory at a Diamond level!
