Saving the battles (splinterlands)

I have started playing again and this time I do not want to be left behind. So, to become a better player, I decided to save the battles in a folder. This is to refer back sometimes and learn from past victories and failures in the %Splinterlands arena.

Often, we tend to overlook the tiny details that could help in saving the team from defeat. Observing what the opponent used to win the game is crucial because the next time you get the same ruleset, this tip could save you from losing points and SPS.

For example, there are monsters that have the healing ability and it may not always suit the mana cap to include such a monster but you never know whether including such a monster could actually help in winning the battle.

So, in my case, I decided to save some of the battles in a folder to refer back to sometimes and learn how to improve myself as a player.
Never mind if you have been labeled as an average player. It is 90% card magic and if you have those cards with you, you can win most of the time except in cases where you nod off and blow it or just miss because of the internet and other such issues.

Most of the players including me were delighted to learn that once we get to the bronze level from novice, we won't have to go back. so, like others, I too was struggling to get back to Bronze in the wild format. The only problem was that each win gives only ten points. Thankfully, there is no minus, still. I am now a member of the Oblivion guild which has a discord server of its own. So, one fellow player was advised to use the summoner that had the ability to use the gladius card and because it has bloodlust, wins could be easier. I did just that and got back to bronze.

Now my only hope is to get more wins and prove to myself that I can be a good player too. I am able to do well when compared to the seasons in the last year. Yea, it has been a long journey and each edition is getting better than ever.

Come to think of it, the alphas and betas were really powerful and good and mesmerized the players cum investors and then the arrival of Untamed along with the orbs made it even more intriguing. The sudden input of players from around the world and SPS changed many lives overnight, literally. Splinterlands has been doing it right consistently and when the team is dedicated, there is nothing to stop it. Nah, no salt, no pickles, and no fury. Fury exists only in the games.

So, if you are a splinterlands player, I would advise you to save the games that you feel are exceptional and can refer to them later on. Rulesets do keep repeating and it will be a good idea to do so.

Tips

  • You can create your own discord server and a tab, especially for battles.
  • Write down any particular battle lineup that you used and won a battle against a strong opponent and save it on a sticky note on the wall for a quick reference
  • Try playing challenge games with fellow guild players
  • Make sure to level up extra cards for either renting out and gaining some dec or for making your deck stronger
