12th Untamed Airdrop Card Revealed!
On 5/06/2021 the @splinterlands team announced the reveal of the 12th Untamed Airdrop Card. This cool looking card in which can be seen above is an Epic Water Monster Named Lobstradamus! Lobstradamus was the 15th Epic card to be available in the Untamed edition booster packs. The chances of players hitting one of these bad boys was 1 in every 75 packs on average. 1 in 50 of them being Gold Foil.
Card Locking Feature & DEC Updates
On 5/05/2021 the Splinterlands team announced the new Locking Cards feature plus some updates to how DEC will be distributed. The Lock feature will allow players to "lock" their cards for a specific amount of days. A locked card can not be transferred, sold, or burned.
The amount of DEC allocated to the ranked battle reward pool will be reset to the initial rate of 1M DEC / day and will automatically decrease if the external market price of DEC falls below $0.001 / DEC and will automatically increase if the market price goes above $0.001 / DEC. The amount of the increase or decrease will be proportional to the amount that the market price has deviated from the intended value.
Splinterlands Guild Brawl Updates & Other Changes
(On 4/22/2021) The Guild Brawl updates included Increased Brawl Cycle Time, Reduced Crown Costs for Building Upgrades, Fray Changes and UI Improvements. Rating Points for Ranked Battle Wins was also updated to 0 for Bronze and Silver league ranked battles but only when the winning player is above the maximum rating level for their league. Splinterlands also announced that CUB would become an in game payment method.
