Welcome once again to another week of share your battle challenge. On the spotlight for discussion is the earth monster Regal Peryton. Splinterlands community welcomes new members to participate at will. To participate requires a knowledge of the guidelines which can be found in the announcement post. Let's Introduce you to Regal Peryton
"They say there is nothing more beautiful than a Regal Peryton." A statement got from the lore. Regal Peryton possesses a beauty that creates a rainbow underneath their wings when they soar through the sunny sky. The lore provides more details about the history of this precious monster. In the splinterlands deck, Regal Peryton belongs to the earth element and has a magic type of attack.
As mentioned above, Regal Peryton is from the earth element deck with a magic form of attack. On the battlefield, there are areas where this monster is most powerful and others where it's less.
starting with the attack, Regal battles with one magic damage at its first and second level. At the third level, the magic damage increased to two and this ran through to the seventh level. The final level alone has the maximum damage with three magic damage. These are the default stat of Regal Peryton but how the fight on the battlefield can be affected by the effect of summoners or another monster.
In terms of speed, this monster comes put at the top spot with a speed numbering five. This monster is always very useful in battles that require inflating early damage to opponents. Speeds are also affected by positive or negative effects from other monsters, which means that it's not a must to always fight with default speed.
Health-wise, Regal Peryton is quite okay. The health varied between 5, 6, 7, and 8 according to level, and this is displayed clearly in the image above.
This monster has only one special ability across all its level. With the flying ability, this monster has an increased chance of evading attacks mostly from melee and ranged attack monsters. On the battlefield, positioning this monster is very important. When positioned rightly, it can help waste the enemy's attack thereby buying more battling time for all friendly monsters.
Probably the only disadvantage this monster has. No level of Regal Peryton was equipped with armor and they are prone to monsters with snare ability as these monsters remove the flying ability in them. Void & silence ability has a way of negatively affecting magic attack monsters and Regal Peryton is no exception.

OBSIDIAN
The earth summoner Obsidian is a magic enhancer and offers a plus one magic damage to all friendly monsters. It is also a rare card with four mana cost.
FLESH-GOLEM
MUSHROOM-SEER
Flesh Golem is a melee attack monster, used in this battle from level three. Golem on the battlefield fought with two melee damage, three speed, ten health, and a healing ability that restores some portion of its damaged health. Golem was used in the front position due to its strong nature. Heal ability enables it to restore part of its damaged health and continue with the battle.
Mushroom Seer is a magic attack type with two magic damage at level one. This monster fought with three magic damage, the extra one damage was from the positive effect from the summoner. This monster was used with the intent of reducing the enemy's magic damage with its silence ability, unfortunately, the enemy went for non-magic monsters. However, its three magic damage was quite much for the opponent to handle.
REGAL PERYTON
This monster made the spotlight for this week and has been discussed above in this post. In this battle, this monster battled with two magic damage, and the flying ability really helped in evading attacks from the opponent's sneak monster.
Questions & Answers from the Battle
Did the Strategy work? "YES" the strategy did work as planned. It was almost a 100% success with all my team finishing the battle. I will do the same thing again if such a case arises.
My opinion on the Regal Peryton card?
In the earth element, Regal peryton is very useful and is one of the best. Personally, I enjoy battling with this monster. By my rating, it is more than an average card on the battlefield.
