THEME: RADIATED BRUTE
Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: COMMON
Element: FIRE
Attack: MELEE
Abilities: Reach

I will share my battle here, which I have uploaded to 3speak.

My Lineup and Strategy
This is my lineup for the battle
Position | Summoner/Monsters | Abilities |
---|---|---|
Summoner | Tarsa | +1 Melee, +1 Health |
Position 1 | Radiated Scorcher | No Ability |
Position 2 | Radiated Brute | Reach |
Position 3 | Serpentine Spy | Opportunity |
Position 4 | Tenyii Striker | Sneak |
Position 5 | Xenith Archer | No Ability |
This was a 20 mana cost battle, I used the Tarsa as my summoner which gave an extra health point and extra Melee attack damage to all my monsters. And it was a standard game with no modifications to the ruleset.

I place Radiated Scorcher at the front of my lineup. Not as a tank but more like a sacrificial unit that can handle one or two blows from the enemy while my monsters at the back attack the opponent. It did help in absorbing a few blows before getting eliminated from the battle.
Next came the Radiated Brute with its reach ability helping it attack even from the second position. It has decent health as well and took many hits in the battle before dying.
Serpentine Spy was placed after the Radiated Brute, It is one of my go-to cards in fire splinter. Although it has just 1 health point, it is a quick unit with opportunity making it a perfect stealth unit.
Next came the Tenyii Striker, another unit with heavy melee attack and good health. This was clearly the MVP of the battle and the only unit standing after the battle was over.
And the last one was Xenith Archer, just used as a filler card as I had 2 mana to spare.
The battle was a tough one, at the start it looked like a difficult job when I first saw the lineup of opponents but somehow my units pulled it through.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
Yes, my strategy worked this time but it was a close match. I should have used a proper tank to defend my Radiated Brute from getting hits.

Do you like the Radiated Brute? Why or why not?
Yes, I like the card mainly due to its reach ability that allows me to place it in 2nd position in the lineup. It also has decent health.
