Ruleset

  • stampede.png Stampede ruleset, The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.

    • Trample ability, every time the monster attacks and kills the enemy unit it will attack the monster behind.
  • Closed Range, range monsters can attack from the first position.

  • Armored Up, All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.

  • mana cap.

  • we can use all elements except Life.

My Lineup and strategy

My Strategy :

  • Usually, if we see the Armored Up ruleset we must think about using magic units because with armor now all enemies are harder to kill with range and melee units, that's why in this battle I bring a unit from Water element that can deal with a magic attack and the good news is that unit has Taunt ability, so temporary we will safe from the magic unit.
  • For the Stampede ruleset we will maximize it with the summoner Possibilus the Wise who can give all melee unit Trample abilities. If we are lucky we may defeat several enemy units at once.

This is my lineup for this battle :

Summoner or monsterAbilitiesDescription
Possibilus the Wise, summoner. Has the buff of +2 HP, and gives Trample and Reach abilities to all friendly monstersThe summoner Reach ability make all melee units in the 2nd position can now attack the enemy in the first position. Every time our monster kills the enemy, it immediately attacks the monster behind because it has the Trample ability. This will help in the ruleset Stampede, now the Trample is unlimited as long as we can kill the enemy every time we do the Trample ability. In this battle, we will try to focus our attack on the enemy monster in the first position so that it dies quickly and reduces damage to our monster.
Arkemis the Bear, 1st position, Attacker, Support and Defender. Has the ability Protect, Halving, Forcefield, and Enrage. We put this monster in the first position because it has a High HP and the Protect ability gives all friendly unit armor of +2, when we are attacked by melee or range attack it will hit the armor first before decreasing the HP. Halving ability will make the monster we hit will decrease the damage by half (round down). This is very useful to decrease the damage of the monster who attacks us in the first position. The Forcefield is another good defense ability, it will make all monsters who have damage of 5 or more only give 1 damage to this monster, and with an Enrage ability if this unit is hit by the enemy and decreases the HP it will increase the damage and speed of this monster this will increase the chance to kill the enemy. This monster has a high HP of 12, and although it's weak against magic our tanker behind who has Taunt ability will temporarily handle that magic attack.
Coastal Sentry, 2nd position, Attacker and 2nd tanker. Has the ability Double Strike, and Piercing.Has very high damage. With Double Strike this monster will attack twice each round giving 5 damage each for a total of 10 damage with the Piercing ability if the attack hits the armor and destroys it, then the remaining damage will hit the HP making this monster easier to kill the enemy. Usually, this monster only can attack from the first position, but because of the summoner Possibilus it can attack from 2nd position.
River Nymph, 3rd position, attacker and support. Has the ability Cleanse, Amplify, and Swiftness. We use this monster because it has a Swiftness* ability which increases the speed of all our allied monsters by +1, Cleanse will remove any negative effects from our monster in the first position. This unit is weak against attack so we put it in this position. For Amplify ability in this battle, we will use it to increase the damage of the Return Fire from our Wave Brood in the last position.
Merdaali Guardian, 4th position, Support, has the ability Tank Heal, Repair, and Strengthen. We use this monster to Heal our monster in the first position and restore the unit armor (Repair ability) that has the highest damage. The Strengthen ability will increase all of the enemy HP to +1 .
Swamp Spitter, 5th position, attacker and support, has ability Repair and Giant Killer. We use this monster because has the Repair ability same as Merdalii Guardian.. The Giant Killer ability will make Swamp Spitter do double damage when hit the enemy who has 10 more mana cost. We put it here to defend against back attack. to protect our Merdaali Guardian in case our unit is in the last position die..
Wave Brood, 6th position, attacker and tanker. Has the ability Taunt, Close Range, Void, and Return Fire.We need this monster's Taunt ability that ensures that enemy monsters will attack this monster if they can, especially the magic attack to protect our tanker in the first position. Although Wave Brood is a ranged attacker, its Close Range ability will make this monster attack from the first position. The Void ability will decrease the enemy magic attack damage by 50%. Wave Brood Return Fire ability will reflect the range attack and give +2 damage to the attacker.

Our Formation is finished and we are ready to battle :

Conclusion

it's only usual formation that I use many times because it gives a good win rate and is suitable to the ruleset of this battle, in this battle we hope that our unit is lucky enough to do several Trample due to the ruleset, but it does not happen, cause the 2nd Trample can't kill the enemy. In this battle The enemy brings many magic attacks I think due to the ruleset Armored Up but we already handle that magic attack temporarily using our Wave Brood Unit, giving our main attacker in front time to kill the enemy unit one by one, safe from magic attack :

Although the Armored Up ruleset disadvantaged our strategy this time but we guessed it right that the enemy would bring a magic attack, which make the enemy have a hard time killing our anti magic unit Wave Brood we bring in this battle.
