My Lineup and strategy

According to the guide we have in our theme today using a monster with the Bloodlust ability will make it easier to defeat the enemy monster, and I have the battle using the Bloodlust ability monster let's see how this strategy performs. The monster with the Bloodlust ability is in the Life element, this is our lineup :

Summoner or monsterAbilitiesDescription
1.pngGeneral Sloan, Summoner. In this battle actually this monster buff is useless because we plan to use melee monsters as an attacker. But we only have this summoner with a mana of 4 in the life element, so we use it. We can not use Grandmaster Rathe because 6 mana cost is too high for this low mana battle.
2.pngPelacor Conjurer, 1st position, Tanker.Have the ability Magic Reflect which can reflect Magic damage back to the enemy. The Flying will increase the chance to evade the enemy range and melee attack by 25%. We put it in the first position because has high speed and is a very good tanker monster, especially for handle range and melee attack. For 2 mana cost with 6 HP is great too bad this monster can't attack.
3.pngCelestial Harpy, 2nd position, attacker. This monster can attack from any position, with the Opportunity ability will attack the monster with the lowest HP. This monster's ability will overwrite the ruleset of Melee mayhem so this monster will focus on attacking the monster with the lowest hp. Have Flying ability like Pelacor Conjurer so I put it here as 2nd tanke. Use these monsters because only cost 2 mana with good stats.
4.pngJared Scar, 3rd position, attacker. This is our main attacker, put in this 3rd position to protect it from the front and back attack, to give it the time to kill the enemy so Bloodlust ability can be activated (every time this monster kill enemy monsters all stats will increase). This monster can't miss with the True Aim Ability, this monster will become more dangerous every time it kills the enemy.
5.pngVulguine, 4th position, attacker.Placed in 4th position, This monster can increase the HP every time the enemy or our monster dies we put it in a safe place to build the HP and hope can get high HP later in the game after several monsters die. Another 2 mana monster with good attack and if lives long enough can have high HP.
6.pngSoul Fiend, 5th position, Attacker and tanker.I used and put this in this position because this monster has zero mana cost, and to protect our monster from the enemy monster with Sneak ability, the attack is low with no ability but the main used is as a tanker, with zero mana cost it's good already that it can attack.
7.pngGargoya Scrapper, 6th position, Attacker and tanker.I used this monster same like Soul Fiend as a tanker against the enemy monster who has Sneak ability (if they bring it) it has 1 mana cost and can attack to. Void ability decreases the damage of magic attack by half, but I think this battle will be useless, cause magic attacks usually attack monsters in the first position.

The Battle

It was seen that the enemy was using a formation that focused on magic attacks and placed several monsters with low mana in front as tankers to cover their main attackers behind.
The enemy thinks that with Melee Mayhem rules we will focus on attacking monsters in the first place, so Regal Peryton is placed as the last tanker with the hope that with high speed and Flying ability (25% increase chance to avoid range and melee attacks) can avoid our monsters attacks.

The enemy's guess is actually almost correct because only the Celestial Harpy will attack the monster with the lowest HP
Maybe what is beyond the enemy's expectations is that we will bring Jared Scar a monster with the Bloodlust ability who benefits from the use of monsters with low HP because it can make it easier to kill it and activate his Bloodlust ability. The other reason is this monster attack always hits the enemy.

  • Round 1:
The battle started with Buff and Debuff.
We easily kill enemy monsters Furious Chicken and Fungus Fiend who have low Stats.
Our monster Vulguin's HP continues to increase when our attacks kill enemies.
Our Pelacor Conjurer also died in this round when he was attacked by Kron Undying, as the Born Again rule set was revived for the second time.
Even though the enemy monster Regal Peryton has stats and abilities that are very supportive for evasion, Jared Scar's attacks can't miss with his True Strike ability killing Regal Peryton and activating his Bloodlust ability making all of his stats increase by 1.

  • Round 2 :
At the beginning of this round, Regal Peryton, who came back to life and only had 1 HP left, attacked our Pelacor Conjurer, his attack managed to kill Pelacor Conjurer but was reflected back thanks to Pelacor Conjurer's Reflect magic ability and killed the enemy monster Regal Peryton.
Only Kron's Monster Remains on the enemy's side, and our side has 5 monsters left that have total damage of 12, while Kron's HP is only 11 with a low speed of 2. Kron who only had 11 HP was attacked by our four monsters without even having time to fight back, it died when he received an attack from our monster Vulguine. Then come back to life with the Born Again ruleset, because having the ability Divine Shield the first attack from our Gargoya Devil on Kron does no damage.
At the start of round 3 our Soul Fiend quickly attacked Kron and killed him. With Kron the Undying dead victory is on our side.

Did your Strategy Work?

The strategy of using monsters with the Bloodlust ability is going well. This strategy, of course, requires a combination of various kinds of monsters to make it better, such as using the use of best tanker with 2 Mana, Pelacor Conjurer. I say the best because, in my opinion for a monster with 2 mana costs, there is no better monster that can replace its role as a tanker.
Pelacor Conjurer who can't attack can kill Regal Peryton and also remove the Divine Shield from enemy monsters Kron so they can be killed more easily.
With the use of our Jared Scar, the enemy monster Regal Peryton can't do much. You can see after the Bloodlust activated the stats way beyond the other monster, when hit the enemy monster Kron gives very high damage helping the other monster to easily kill the enemy monster Kron.
In my opinion, this strategy is very effective, especially at 18-20 mana because usually the enemy will use several monsters with low stats (armor and HP) make it easier for the monster to kill the enemy and activate the Bloodlust ability.
