My Lineup and strategy

Because this is Melee Mayhem but with Thorns ability, if we want to use a melee monster we can use a monster who can handle the effect of Thorns, The best is if the monster has a Reflection Shield ability like Tide Biter or Venator Kinjo. Another choice is we can use a melee monster with the ability Life Leech, Every time this monster attacks and hits the enemy HP will restore some HP according to their damage. Sometimes we use this strategy to surprise the enemy. For the ruleset Silence Summoner better if we use Summoner with the lowest mana cost from Dragon element so we can use 2 element. This is our lineup :

Summoner or monsterAbilitiesDescription
1.pngQuick the Devious, SummonerThis summoner buff is useless in this battle because of the Silenced Summoner ruleset, but at least if we use Dragon element having the advantage can choose monsters from 2 elements. We only have this Dragon Summoner so we use it.
2.pngPelacor Conjurer, 1st position, Tanker. In this ruleset, The ability Magic Reflect and Phase I think it's important, because of the **Briar Patch ruleset there is a high chance that the enemy will use range or magic monster. Magic Reflect will reflect the damage of the monster with a magic attack that gives damage to the attacker. The Phase ability make this monster can evade the enemy's magic attack. Many magic monsters have slow speed, making it hard to hit the Pelacor Conjurer, The Flying will increase the chance to evade the enemy attack by 25%. Has the ability Divine Shield The first time it is hit by the enemy monster the damage will be ignored, This is the best tanker for 2 mana cost, too bad this monster can't attack.
3.pngStitch Leech, 2nd position, attacker. This melee monster can attack from any position because has a Sneak ability, this monster will attack the opponent in the last position. With Life Leech's ability every time this monster attacks and decreases the enemy's HP, the HP will increase according to the damage dealt. I hope the HP increase from Life Leech can make this monster live long enough when receiving the effect of Thorns. Has high damage of 4.
4.pngDax Paragon, 3rd position, attacker.Affliction ability will make the monster hit by Affliction status can't heal, and the chance for inflicting the status every time this monster attacks is 50%. Amplify will increase the damage of Thorns and Magic Reflect by 1.
5.pngVenator Kinjo, 4th position, attacker. This monster can't be attacked if not in the first position, Reflected Shield will ignore the effect of the Thorns. Have a useful support ability Slow which decreases all enemy monsters' speed by 1 This ability will be very useful to help our monster attack the enemy first, evade the enemy attack, and make sure every hit can decrease the enemy armor or HP. This monster has Immunity ability so immune to a negative status like Poison, Slow status, etc.
6.pngVenari Crystalsmith, 5th position, attacker and supportThis is our Healer, it can heal monsters in the first position. Dispel ability will delete all positive buff from the enemy in the first position. Put in this position to make sure this monster does not die earlier. We use this mainly to support the Pelacor Conjurer.
7.pngPrismologist, 6th position, tanker and attacker. With Forcefield ability if it is hit by the monster with 5 damage or more the damage will decrease to 1. If this monster hits the enemy monster the attack will damage the enemy monster adjacent to it because it has Blast ability. Put the monster in the last position, because it has armor to defend against a monster with sneak ability. This range monster has a high damage of 4, but slow speed.

The Battle

1.gif

The enemy monster focuses on attacking our monster in the first position, so our Pelacor Conjurer will in heavy attack, Win or loss depends on the Pelacor Conjurer's performance, We count on the evade ability of the Pelacor Conjurer and the heal from Venari Crystalsmith.
The enemy brings tanker which I think it's the reverse of the Pelacor Conjurer, Lord Arianthus is very slow so can't evade but can decrease the enemy's magic, range, and melee attack damage by half, and has a Magic Reflect ability too like Pelacor Conjurer.

  • Round 1:
The battle started with Buff and Debuff.
Good news Our Dax Paragon managed to inflict Affliction status to Lord Arianthus so it can't heal anymore. Our Pelacor Conjurer almost died but the enemy Goblin Cheff attacked miss so the Venari Crystalsmith managed to heal it again.

2.gif

  • Round 2 :
Our Pelacor keeps reflecting the magic attack, the enemy mage monsters Mushroom Seer and Wood Nymph are only left with 1 HP.
Our Stitch Leech with the ability Life Leech manages to live after killing the enemy Swamp Thing. With the death of Swamp Thing our monster's speed and HP increase. The enemy Lord Arianthus's HP keeps decreasing with the attack of our Venari Crystalsmith and Prismologist. Our Dax Paragon, and Venator Kinjo can't hurt it because only have 1 damage. Our Pelacor Conjurer almost died again but fortunately, the attack of the Earth Elemental and Goblin Cheff couldn't hit it.

3.gif

  • Round 3:
The enemy monster Mushroom Seer with only 1 HP left is easily Killed by our Stitch Leech. The enemy Wooden Nymph attacked our Pelacor Conjurer and the attack reflected back and killed the Wooden Nymph. The enemy tanker Lord Arianthus died in this round attacked by our Prismologist. With the death of Lord Arianthus, I think the enemy can't do much anymore cause only have 1 monster who can attack the Goblin Cheff with 1 damage.

4.gif

  • Round 4:
The battle finished when our Prismologist attacked the Earth Elemental giving the adjacent damage to the Goblin Cheff and killing it. It becomes Double Kill.

Did your Strategy Work?

This combination monster works very well The Pelacor Conjurer does a great job defending the frontline the enemy can't kill it until the end, it keeps evading several enemy's attacks and is healed by our Venari Crystalsmith. Not only that the Pelacor Conjurer keeps reflecting back the magic attack so the enemy magic HP is only left with 1 HP in round 2. and easily killed by our Stitch Leech. We destroy the enemy from behind and front. Dax Paragon prevents the Lord Arianthus from getting healed from Wood Nymph making it easier to kill. The slow ability from Venator Kinjo Helps the Pelacor Conjurer and other monsters to evade the enemy attack by slowing the enemy's speed.
